"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"First off, everyone we've dealt with has been professional, friendly, and courteous. We liked the reviews we saw in Angie's List and Murphy's installed a new sliding door for us in Nov 2014. One of our requests was it be "lightweight" and easy to slide. Well, it didn't seem that way when it was installed, but we were told to give it some time to loosen up. Nope. Still heavy and hard to open and close... 3+ years later. Next problem was the screen door with it. In Spring 2015 (when we needed it, since the door was installed in the winter), the screen door continuously came off its track. Don came out to fix it ("right") and it almost lasted until the end of the season. I spoke with Jimmy Murphy who runs the place... again, super nice and super friendly... but when I reached him to help... lots of delays, promises, etc. I kept putting it back on the track myself for short-term fixes. I called/texted in the Fall 2017 to have it fixed or replaced... no response. Called/Texted again in Spring 2018 and was told someone would be out to take care of it. No one. Another call and text promising to be there "next Tuesday." Nothin. I've had enough. Well meaning group, but lacks follow-through and, apparently, the ability to keep customers happy/satisfied. Hard to imagine that 20 minutes of their time and/or possibly $10-50 in parts will cost them my future business and possibly the loss of others' business (after reading this). Won't use again...."

"I had wood windows with aluminum exterior facing that were about 25 years old. A number of them had bad seals or the interior wood was discolored due to moisture over the years. I had no luck finding replacement seals and my wife really disliked how the interior wood was looking so we chose to replace all windows rather than replace just the bad ones. If you choose wood windows you better plan on resealing them regularly. We decided on the Marvin fiberglass windows because of how wood like they looked and the quality of the constructions. Vinyl wood look options just had a cheap look.
Marvin fiberglass windows are not cheap but I was able to negotiate some off of the initial Next Door and Window price. Everyone from Next Door and Window were professional in their dealings with me. Included in the price was removal of entire window including frame, Other companies may be cheaper by leaving in the old frame but i wanted all new. The price also included our choice of stains for the windows and interior trim in the Next Door and Window factory (eliminates in home mess). The on-site new window installation included foam insulation to fill any air gaps, the interior trim pieces, and filling of any small brad nail holes from the trim installation.
.Installation went well though it took longer than expected since only a 2 man crew showed up when i was expecting a 4 man crew. Finishing up was a bit rushed so the walk through and demo of how to work the windows was rushed but turned out ok. We were missing one screen and noticed one trim board that looked bad after they left. Both were taken care without incident but took a little while till they came back out.
Conclusion: I could have spent less elsewhere but i expected quality, paid for quality, and received quality. In hindsight, i would choose Next Door and Window again and recommend them to friends and family.
