The encapsulation process sounds like a great solution to any crawlspace issues that may be present.  However, it is a costly solution, although may have this done in the future. 
The inspection process went well, friendly, professional and all questions thoroughly answered.  The only down-side:  Minor issue, but wish men had placed a drop-cloth outside the crawlspace entrance so as not to track out any crawlspace soil."

"After three years of living in our remodeled home, my sister
and I began experiencing water seepage in three different locations in our
finished basement. Rather than let the problem get out of hand, we decided to
repair it. We contacted three different companies for repair estimates.
 
Following one outrageous estimate from a big name company and
one reasonable estimate from another company, Brian Flanagan of Basement
Waterproofing Solutions was the third person to visit our home. We were
immediately impressed with his knowledge. He provided us with an honest
assessment of what he believed was causing our seepage problem - foundation
cracks around our basement windows. To solve our seepage issues, Brian suggested
cutting through the drywall in our basement and sealing the cracks in two of
the three locations where we had water seepage. He told us that we would be
responsible for having the drywall repaired after the work was completed. In
the third location, rather than cut through the drywall, Brian believed the
crack could be sealed from the exterior of our home. He explained that this solution
would be less destructive because the drywall wouldn?t need to be cut open,
which would also save us money. My sister and I appreciated Brian?s willingness
to suggest the most cost-effective solutions for our home. Unlike the big name
company that came to our house, he didn?t try to scare us into paying for expensive
solutions that were well beyond the scope of our needs.
 
Brian quoted us a price of $700 to repair three foundation
cracks as well as any additional cracks
found during the repair process. He even stated that he would have his crew
seal the exterior of our home in several places to prevent water penetration. We
were impressed with the fact that he put this all in writing. His price was the
lowest estimate we received and even included an Angie?s List coupon that Brian
gave us himself. After considering the cost, Brian?s expertise,
professionalism, and the hassle-free solution he offered, we decided to give
him the job.
 
Brian?s crew was scheduled to come
out the following Saturday, but he called the night before to say that the crew
could not come due to one worker having a family emergency. I informed Brian
that I was displeased with the last-minute notice. In an effort to apologize
for the inconvenience, he stated that he would have his crew come out the
following week. He also said that he would have them repair the drywall at no
additional cost to us. We thought this was a wonderful deal and demonstrative
of Brian?s willingness to go beyond the call of duty to satisfy his customers.
 
One week later, two workers
promptly arrived as scheduled. They went over the work to be done and asked us
if we had any questions.  We answered no,
and they began working. The workers were courteous and professional as well. Before
they finished, Brian showed up to inspect the work and make sure we were
pleased with everything.  We expressed
our satisfaction, and the men finished up. They cleaned up after themselves as
well.  As promised, the workers returned
a few days later to repair the drywall. They replaced and sanded it at no cost
to us.
 
We really appreciated the care Brian
and his workers took in addressing our seepage issues and making sure that we
were pleased with their work. We waited to write a review until we had some
rain. We haven?t had any more problems thus far. Only time and heavier
rainstorms will let us know if we are in the clear. However, Brian told us to call
if we have any more problems. He stands by his work and we have no doubt that
he will work hard to resolve any future issues should they arise. We appreciate
Brian Flanagan?s honesty, expertise and professionalism. We would highly

"He arrived on time and got it running. I did notice that a couple of heads were not positioned properly and I had to do it after he left. I only used this service because my regular sprinkler guy was not available due to illness.

They had to remove part of a hedge, but only removed the minimum amount needed to bury the drain pipe. The window well replacement is beautiful. "During the major rainstorms we?ve been having, the drains in the basement (both in the laundry room and the shower) backed up. We mopped up the water and cleaned. After that, though, there was frequently a rotten egg/sewer smell coming from the drain. I did some research on Angie?s List and called DinoSewer. When I set the appointment on the phone, Gary asked me when the last time was that the lines had been rodded. The house was built in 1948. I bought it in December 2009. My guess was that the last clean-out was closer to 1948 than 2009. He told me he would rod and run tv camera through the line so we could see what was going on. They were unable to rod all the way to the street due to misaligned/damaged pipes. Gary proposed that they excavate down to the sewer line in the front yard and put in a local access. Then have the inspector come out to approve the work and be on hand to run the tv camera to the street. That way, if there was damage on the street side, the inspector would see it first hand and city would be responsible for those repairs. The contract was drawn up to ?install proper cleanout access in front yard. Dig down to main line, remove misaligned/damaged sections of pipe. Install sanitary tee, pipe and riser, bed all pipework in stone after making proper connections?.once complete, rod and camera remaining line for further problems or defects.? He was clear that they wouldn?t do landscaping at the end and that we would have to keep saturating the resulting dirt pile until it settled. He put in writing a 10 year warranty on the pipework and a 2 year warranty on the rodding. Done. He also replaced a leaky faucet in the basement bathroom (took out the old, went out and bought and installed a new one). The total price (above) included $235.00 for the new faucet. Everything done according to agreement. The entire project took about three days (from the initial attempt at rodding). Haven?t had any back up since even though we?ve had several more rainstorms. There was a rotten egg smell after one of the storms and I called. Gary came right out. We had already plugged the drain (rubber drain stopper) and, frankly, it was working just fine. He gave some suggestions that sounded like more than I wanted to get into. We agreed that, as long as the plug was working, why not? He didn't try to pressure me into any other work. The dirt pile outside is gradually settling (saturate and hoe dirt clumps to encourage gravity to do its work). Very happy with the results and will use DinoSewer for future plumbing work."
