"We completed a tub-to-shower conversion for this customer over a year ago. She absolutely loved what we did and provided excellent feedback on the final project. A customer called a year later and stated she had mold on the sealant in the shower. We explained that this was not a result of quality or workmanship but rather improper cleaning methods of the system and some bathrooms hold moisture more than others. We never set an actual time for a service call at that time. Ultimately we have now scheduled a service call, We provided a reseal FREE of Charge to resolve this. We take pride in our workmanship and commitment to our customers proven by our 5-star reviews."
"I would like to address these concerns. My employees and I take great pride in our workmanship and our customer service and communication. * Typically with older homes, walls are not plumb or square. In our installation process, we make adjustments for these irregularities. We did adjust for the installation of the shower door and it was installed correctly and did not leak. Per our discussion we informed the customer that the door would have to be ordered after the tub to shower conversion was completed - hence the 6 days wait time. * The customer had called me with a concern about closing the doors. I had explained to the customer that these doors are made to close one way, and you cannot reverse the glass panels based on the location of the shower head. I then advised her to use the shower, and if she noticed any problems with leaking to please contact me. I never received a call. I also did not state that I would be at the home that day - I was out of the area all day and knew I wouldn't be able to get there. * Per our signed agreement, it is stated above the signature line that the customer authorizes our company to charge their account immediately for the remaining balance upon completion. It was completed, and the customer stated in this review that the work had been done. * Finally, I feel that we have kept this customer informed of our installation process throughout this entire project, and I personally as the owner, visited the project site up until the shower door was installed. Also, as stated above, I asked the customer to call me with any concerns, and I never received a call. We take our customers and our service very seriously, and as our history shows, our previous customers have chosen us for our reputation. Any questions, please review our five-star reviews and call our office if you have any questions! Best Regards, Dennis O'Toole"
"On January 9. 2018, we entered into a contractual agreement with this customer. We explained in entirety the work that needed to be completed . She received estimates from several companies. She chose Bath Consultants Inc., and stated that we were the best value and rated company; after receiving higher estimates, and also being told by others that they could not perform the work she had requested. She had a leaking tub liner that was installed by another company. We had to remove the tub liner, remove the cast iron tub beneath it, and repair the damaged ceramic tile walls. This scope of work was required in order to remedy this problem; this was the only way to alleviate the leaking bath tub, install a new replacement tub, and install a new acrylic wall surround. We were able to complete the entire project in one full day. As far as the mess concern, this project did involve the complete tear out of a cast iron tub, and tear out of ceramic walls; however, as standard practice, we always leave the home in a clean state and haul out the debris and garbage. Please contact our office with any questions regarding this review as we would be happy to provide further information. We would suggest you look at our other reviews, most of which are 4 and 5 star ratings."
