"Jeremy was fantastic. Extremely professional, knowledgeable. He installed our Schlage keyless door locks, hung our tv's and also hooks for coats in laundry room. He came prepared with all tools and everything he did was top notch perfect. We will ask Jeremy again for his services. I would recommend him to anyone as he has a wide range of experience for any home tasks or needs. Thanks again Jeremy!!!!! You were great."

Very friendly and honest. I was a meat cutter for 32 years. And in that time , I became very knowledgeable customer service and the importance of being honest with your customers and guaranteeing your work. I have found through my life that I'm very knowledgeable about how things work and mechanically inclined so therefore, I can do a lot. I can weld, I can do plumbing, I can do small engine work etc

"Monty is a PRO. He remodeled our kitchen in 2009. We added square footage, and took the place down to the studs. We live in a 1912 Craftsman & his attention to detail was worthy of our old home. We appreciated his advice on many of the decisions we had to make. We just trusted him. Our kitchen was the first project & it still looks like new. His work is stellar & we were sorry to see him move out of state. The latest project, our attic, was taken down to the studs to now include guest bedroom and an added bath. Itâ s simply beautiful. we waited many months so that we would have only the best. Weâ ve had him back for smaller projects. Our fireplace: I showed him a picture of the vision I had & he made it happen. Heâ s meticulous and worth waiting for!!"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

You should add chlorine within 48 hours of filling your pool with water. In just 24 hours, bacteria and algae will begin to grow and contaminate your water. After that point, you’ll need to shock the water with high levels of chlorine, and you’ll likely need to do additional vacuuming to get the pool clean. It’s important to check your chlorine levels two to three times a week and add more chlorine as needed to maintain a healthy level.

The cost to repair a swimming pool varies widely, with an average cost around $700. The total expense can range from as little as $10 for simple DIY fixes to over $20,000 for extensive overhauls. Key factors influencing the cost include the type of pool (in-ground vs. above-ground), its size, and the specific repairs needed. For above-ground pools, repairs typically cost between $100 and $700. For in-ground pools, costs are higher, generally ranging from $350 to $2,700. Common repairs include patching liners, fixing plumbing or electrical lines, and repairing equipment like pumps and filters. More complex issues, such as fixing a cracked beam, can cost $6,000 or more, while major projects like resurfacing a concrete pool can cost between $10,000 and $20,000.

Yes, adding a pool to your property will almost always increase your homeowners insurance premiums. This is because pools are considered a greater liability due to their potentially hazardous nature, and the added replacement cost of the pool is factored into your home's rebuilding cost when considering coverage limits. The amount of the increase can range from as little as $50 to a few hundred dollars more per year, depending on your insurance provider, location, current coverage, and the safety features installed. Before building a pool, it is highly recommended to contact your insurance agent to get an estimate, discuss their specific guidelines and requirements, and factor the increased premium into your total pool installation costs.

Natural pools don’t necessarily attract snakes, although there is a chance they could stop by for a quick visit. They’re not likely to stay, however, because there’s nothing for snakes to eat in a natural pool environment. A well-maintained natural pool has clear water, so you should be able to easily spot a snake before diving in.

Filter balls don’t work as well as sand filters because they’re unable to handle large debris, are prone to clogging, and require frequent cleaning. While they can seem more convenient and less expensive than sand filters, most need to be removed and washed regularly, or they won’t filter well and struggle with algae and dirt. Speak with your pool maintenance pro about the best filtration option for your pool.
