We specialize in trench-less pipe replacement. What that means is that we have crews of highly qualified individuals who all they do day in and day out is trench-less pipe replacement. We are not plumbers doing this on the side. We have more equipment and more experience with CIPP ( cured in place piping/ Lateral lining ) than anyone in the state. We are able to re line sewer, conduit, drains, storm drains and heat vents from 1.5" up to 24". We can re line pipe through bends (45's and 90's with very little wrinkling. We can re line through wye and tee connections and use a robot to drill out the opening to the branch lateral. We also offer pipe bursting on water and sewer lines from 1/2" up to 10"

Excavating questions, answered by experts

Directional drilling is complex and requires training to use the advanced machinery. It can be challenging to monitor the position of the drill since there’s no direct line of sight. Directional drilling can also be more expensive with a cost of $10 to $30 per linear foot compared to $5 to $12 per linear foot for trenching.

Professionals who complete perc tests can usually do them in a single day. Including excavating to expose the test site, filling the hole with water, and monitoring it while it drains, you can expect the test to take between four and eight hours total. It’s possible that you’ll get the results the same day, but some companies may take a few days to get official results.

If you don’t wish to dig it out and convert it into a finished basement, you can still encapsulate your crawl space to protect it from damage for an average cost of $5,500. Finishing a crawl space beyond this isn’t really worthwhile, as the low ceilings mean you won’t be able to use the area as living space.

We recommend removing the stump, and grinding is a popular way to do it. You can also dig out small stumps or stumps that have fully decayed instead of grinding them. However, don’t try using acids or fire for killing a tree stump, which is a fire hazard and illegal in many areas.

Leaving the stump alone invites eventual problems, including attracting termites, mold, and fungi.

While you can save some money by digging your own pool, you may end up paying more in construction equipment rental fees in the long run. You could, however, focus your DIY energies on lowering the cost of leveling your lawn for your pool or filling in surrounding landscaping after construction.
