"They did a great job. The job was completed faster than expected. They had the locates done. They covered the fence with plastic to prevent concrete splatter on it. The sheilded the air condition compressors with plywood during the concrete pour. Overall I am really happy with them and will be hiring them to do the concrete work for my deck. Thank you Cora Construction!"

"They were on time, very polite, willing to do anything I needed done in connection with the patio project, and some separate from the actual patio (moving dirt away from a gate). Their work was professional, and complete to the last bit. They cleaned up the entire area when they were done. I would use them for other projects in the yard - in fact have already asked for an estimate on building some waist high garden beds."

"Conquer Concrete did a great job on removing my old driveway and replacing it with a wider driveway and sidewalk. They also added a separate RV pad. Alex was great to work with and his crews worked hard and were on time. The work was done efficiently, and they had the right equipment for the job. They cleaned up the job site. Overall, very satisfied. Alex was very knowledgeable and offered some great suggestions on what I needed and improved what I had originally envisioned for the project."

"Eder and his team did a great job! We are very pleased with the final results. They extended our patio, poured a shed pad, created a walkway from the driveway through our back gate all the way down the side of our house and connected it to the new patio and shed pad. The work was quick and professional. Always communicated when they would be here and his quote was spot on. I highly recommend their work. Best quality for the price you will find in the area!"

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Many contractors offer warranties for their work. Confirm terms before starting the project.

Mudjacking is usually reserved for light-duty slabs, like patios, driveways, and sidewalks. However, it can be an effective way to lift garage slabs and concrete around the perimeter of the home, which could harm your foundation if it’s not done properly. The risk of damage is why having a professional mudjacking company carry out the work is important. This type of slab or foundation repair is relatively inexpensive, especially if you consider that a DIY job requires that you pay to rent the necessary equipment.

On average, a mudjacking repair lasts between five and 10 years, though it can sometimes last for well beyond a decade under ideal conditions. Its longevity depends heavily on several factors, including the condition of the underlying soil, environmental conditions like freeze/thaw cycles and erosion, and whether the root cause of the sinking, such as drainage issues, is resolved. Because it doesn't always fix the underlying problem of loose soil, mudjacking is often considered a temporary solution. Proper maintenance and evaluation can help extend its lifespan.

Polyjacking can be a permanent solution to sunken concrete if you also address the underlying issue—like poor drainage—at the same time. The polyurethane material itself can last as long as or even outlast the concrete you’re lifting it with. Your sunken concrete issue will likely return if you don’t couple polyjacking with proper drainage to prevent future soil movement and sinking.

Concrete leveling can last anywhere from five to 10 years or more, and in some cases, it can be a permanent solution. The longevity depends on the method used and whether the underlying cause of the sinking is addressed. For example, mudjacking typically lasts five to 10 years, while polyjacking can last for 20 years or more. It's best to consult a professional for an accurate timeline based on your specific situation and any factors that could cause the issue to recur.
