"Stay Dry did an awesome job. Luigi and his crew were on site promptly every day. A couple of days proved too windy to work, so they came back that Sunday so that they could finish in a timely manner. They kept us informed as to where they were in the project and finished within the time they indicated. They did a great clean-up job afterwards. Luigi came back to do a walk-around with us to make sure we were satisfied and to answer any questions we had."

"Austin was great to work with. He enjoys what he does and he is very thorough with communication throughout the project. We really appreciate his promptness and follow up on when he would be back to finish the project. He also cleaned up after himself which put icing on the whole experience. Hire him for your tree service jobs."

Small jobs welcome

"Basically dittoing others comments. Troy and his team went above and beyond in their flexibility to dynamicalyy and creatively adjusting to unplanned items that went beyond the original scope of work. They seamlessly extended an existing french drain, added some additional drains as well as added and spread additional rock, truly transforming the yard. One thing you can count on Troy being is honest, practical and easy to talk thru scenarios. He is truly customer focused and he does the work as if he was doing it for his own yard at a reasonable price and exceptional value. He mentioned one thing that stuck with me, he wants to be able to sleep at night after his has completed his work for a customer. Great guy and look forward to engaging him if I ever need future drainage/yard projects. Feel like I not only lucked out as a customer but gained a long-term friend. P. S. : I also now understand he has a snow plowing business during the winter and I'll definitely look him up if he is in the area and we need some plowing and/or deicing. Great job Troy and team, it was a pleasure doing business with you! Cheers!"

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

While removing every snowflake from your roof is unnecessary, you should remove a significant buildup of snow. Since snow is wet and heavy, it can easily cause damage to your roof, which can lead to needing costly repairs.

Additionally, when the snow melts but has nowhere to go and refreezes, it can create an ice dam, causing mold concerns due to water leaking into your attic and ceiling. For these reasons, it’s best to hire a snow removal professional to clear heavy snowfall from your roof as soon as possible.

Snowblowers are some of the best tools for snow removal because they remove large amounts of snow quickly without bodily harm or damaging your deck. If your snowblower can fit on your deck, it’s a good first line of defense to remove snow quickly and easily. If you don’t have a snowblower, a plastic shovel with a rubber blade is another good choice to remove snow on a deck.

Snowblowers come in three different sizes: first-, second-, and third-stage blowers. Each additional stage is larger with higher intakes, more powerful, and has more gear options.

A first-stage blower, also called a snow thrower, is usually best for snow 6 to 8 inches or below. Electric snow blowers are usually only available in this size. If you regularly get snow that’s well above six inches, consider a second-stage snow blower. If snowstorms dump 2 to 3 feet of snow repeatedly during winter, you need a third-stage snow blower to tackle it.

Both rock salt and ice melt are naturally occurring salts. Rock salt is sodium chloride, which is the same as table salt. Ice melt products can be made from a combination of salts like magnesium chloride and calcium chloride or can be those salts alone.

Rock salt comes in large crystals, so it helps provide traction on icy surfaces, whereas ice melt products need to be mixed with sand to provide traction. Ice melt products work at lower temperatures than rock salt, so they might be a better choice if you have a harsh winter climate.

While DIY is possible for small areas, professional services provide fast, efficient removal for large properties or heavy snowfall.
