The crew leader gladly explained to me and showed me all the repairs as they were performing them. He answered any questions I asked and I felt comfortable with the answered he gave me. I've dealt with enough contractors by now to know when they are trying feed me a load of bull. The job looked very good when they finished and they did a very good job of cleaning up all of the trash once they were complete. It hasn't rained since the repairs, but I feel very confident in the repairs

They said it would take about 3-4 weeks for the glass to be cut and installed. They had the glass in about 10 days and finished the job in 2 days. What prompted my call to the Tompkins, derived from my observation of a home on our community golf course. I saw a home that had a beautiful enclosed back porch. I was thinking of doing the same type of work on our home, and I decided I would contact the home owner, and ask who did his porch, Low and behold, the owner of the home was playing golf on the hole in front of me, so I decided to drive my cart up and ask him about his source for the enclosure. Surprisingly, it was his brother's company, and he asked if I wanted his brother Ben's number.Within two weeks of receiving the cost estimate, and our approval to do the work, the team was here and doing the job.It took a couple of weeks, but it came out spectacular. The workers, a three man crew, were fantastic, and very competent. They not only did a superb job, but cleaned up the area, each and every day.They built us an all season room, with low E glass windows, a pergola, which they screened in with 20x20 screening to protect us from the southeast Georgia sand gnats.It has been a couple of weeks since the work was completed, and we are just as happy today as we were on the completion day.Thanks Ben, Jill, and crew

"Hail damage occurred in March of this year and I contacted Braswell Construction as well as 2 other local roofing companies. Chris Gaugler contacted me asap and came out to the house. The other two roofing companies I never heard back. Braswell Construction contacted my insurance company and worked out all the details. "We just completed installing a motorized retractable awning from [*** Link removed ***] and are super pleased with the quality of the build, appearance and customer support.? This Italian-designed, engineered and manufactured awning is assembled and shipped from RetractableAwnings.com Florida plant, so if you need assistance with the install, you should contact a local handyman, carpenter or contractor.? Ours is a Palermo Plus, 16 ft. wide, with an 11 ft.-10 in. projection.? The Internet salesperson, Eric Scop, V.P., really worked with us to understand all the options and get fabric swatches.? We ultimately selected a combination Rain/Sun sensor and Vibration sensor to automatically retract the awning in case of heavy rain or excessive wind.? I spoke with Rocky, their installation expert, for advice on preparing the ledger board to attach the awning to our vinyl sided home, right below the soffit.? His advice was instrumental in making the install go so well.? Further, the awning arrived already programmed to the Soliris transmitter and the motor limit switches were also set.? It shipped in a fiberboard box (this one was about 17 ft long and 1 ft x 1 ft square, weighing over 200 lbs.), which was extremely tough.? The truck driver ignored the box orientation stickers and used a hand truck to move it from the center, rather than two hand trucks, one at each end, per the clear placarding on the box.? Despite this, it arrived in great shape, other than a couple minor paint scratches, which we will fix with touchup paint they are sending at no charge.? While the enclosed wall brackets were different from those described in the installation manual (an improved design), installing them was no problem. An extra bracket was included, which we also installed as this will be a large ?sail? on the side of the house and we want it to stay there.
