"I contacted Creative Basements for my daylight basement finishing project. The detailed competitive quote I received coupled with the fact that I knew I would be communicating with the owner of the Company (and not a project manager) throughout the process made is a no-brainer for me and I picked Creative Basement from several other companies I was considering. Jason was very responsive throughout the entire process and answered all of my questions prior to signing the contact and throughout the entire process. I ended up having finished approximately 1650 sq ft of finished space which included a living room w/fireplace, bar, full bathroom, bedroom, game room and gym. I would highly recommend this company."

"PLEASE READ: Mark was great to work with in the beginning. After I did calculations for some items, Mark became angry and stopped communicating. Before construction could continue, I needed to get an electrician out because there was a real issue. Mark insisted there wasn't. After I insisted and called him out on his lack of communication, he said he was sending over his electrician the next morning. I cancelled plans and stayed home to wait on electrician. I never heard from Mark and he did not respond to texts. I called and he said there was nothing wrong and a new switch was installed. I called an electrician. There was an issue and the new switch was not installed. We also agreed that I would pay for flooring materials on main floor(lvp and underlayment) and Mark would demo and level kitchen and provide transition and baseboard. The floor is sloped in an area and there is a random square board and cuts in wood in more than one area. Mark used my old cheap laminate as a transition board on the stairs. This is not a joke or exaggeration. In addition, Mark did not use the underlayment that I purchased at his recommendation. Mark’s company cut and painted flooring on my gray stained covered porch without putting anything down. I have this on blink video occurring all day. There was paint and dust all over the porch. Mark does not apologize ever. The area had sharp small nails on stairs that were not even worked on. Mark said my request to correct this is ridiculous and said he would not repair slope. I’ve given him every opportunity to repair. I asked for an additional contract so we could let the contract guide us instead. Mark refused to add repairing of slope area and ignores me about underlayment. I asked him not to continue work or send his guys back for other work(He is doing insurance work on bottom floor.) Mark sent his guys twice after this and they just came into the house. I sent them home on Labor Day and texted Mark that I explicitly asked him not to be on the property until we had a signed agreement. His response was they could just work in garage. Update: 9/9/24! Mark is now demanding I take the reviews down or he won’t repair floors. The nightmare continues. He said he is putting a lien on my house. He says I am preventing him from doing the work but that is a complete lie. Read all details above to understand."

"I chose HDEZ Gabinets for my owner suite bathroom remodel. This contractor provided an all inclusive price for demo, subfloor repair, plumbing, electrical work, painting, custom cabinetry and shower glass. Some items were included or I received a credit if I provided the item myself. The subcontractors cleaned up as they worked and protected our home. The price was more than fair and Pedro stands by his work. Our bathroom is beautiful and we are already thinking about getting our kitchen done. I researched Pedro and his company thoroughly before hiring him. Because of my job, I need to trust who was brought in my home and I also see contractors take advantage of people. Jeff contacted me back very promptly and we discussed the needed repairs. Jeff was truly an answer to prayer after many months of having to struggle with the insurance claims process (Allstate is deplorable). We talked on multiple occasions to make sense of the insurance estimate and make selections to put my parents house back in order, and my parents were very pleased with him and his subs.
