"These guys were amazing! Came in knowing what had to be done did a great and fast job, I recommend them to anybody needing waterproofing or encapsulation!!"
"Zach, Dustin & Robert are consummate professionals! Zach did the initial evaluation of our crawl space, foundation, and framing and developed a solution to remedy the deficiencies. Outstanding job! Dustin and Robert implemented the solutions and in the process they identified an additional hidden issue in our floor joist. The plumber had cut away about half of a girder under a load bearing wall during construction. Needless to say Dustin and Robert developed a solution, implemented it, and literally saved our house from a catastrophic failure. These three men are an exceptional team. Their customer service skills are absolutely beyond reproach! According, they have my highest recommendation for any foundation, waterproofing or house leveling issues anyone may have!!! Great job men!!!"

"Overall, it was a good experience. AAA put down a vapor barrier and installed a Santa Fe dehumidifier with sump pump. The result is that we can now use the stand-up basement/crawlspace to store things under the house without ruining them. This is the part that you need to know. The installation was not without problems. First, they broke an A/C drain pipe, second, they cut a sprinkler controller wire while running a PVC pipe. Here's my take, accidents happen but how does the business respond to these issues? Well, Donna was very quick to send her team out to correct the problems and they even paid for the damage to the sprinkler system. To me, that's top notch customer service. Any business can make a mistake, but how they handle it is the mark of a good company. Every time I lift the roll door and go into the basement now, I'm amazed at how cool and fresh the air is down there. No more mildew and no more smell."
In Savannah, we were having a wet fall and winter and were experiencing moisture problems in our house. Our dehumidifier could not keep up with the problem. My wife smelled a musty smell which she thought was mildew. When we first contacted crawlspacedoctor.com, they set up a consultation for us that same week. Greg McBride came out and went over all the problems he found as well as solutions he recommended that would solve the problems.
He gave us an estimate of time & costs and said it would be 3 weeks before he could get a crew to us. However, since my wife was having allergic reactions to the moisture & mildew smells, she had to move out of the house until the job was completed. So Greg rearranged his schedule and was able to get a crew to our house within a week. They showed up as promised on a Monday morning and worked full days until the job was done that Friday.
They removed the existing plastic liner which was not doing its job. They cleaned out debris, hung wires and graded the dirt in the crawl space. Then they blocked off the open foundation areas with 2 inch foam board, sealing in each board with 2/2 pressure treated wooden slats. Then they sealed each board with closed cell foam.
They also cleaned up the floor joist using full sanding & microban antimicrobial to help fully sanitize the floor joist. Then they installed 15 mill white heavy duty liner, completely sealing up the house from the crawl space with each seam taped and all walls and columns sealed.
Then they installed 2 new crawl space doors using pressure treated lumber and galvanized handles and latches. The final crawl space ended up looking like a finished basement and will be ventilated by a heat duct line that we will install to keep moisture out. The "after" pictures on their website reflect our finished product too.
We were very happy with the quality of the workmanship and the professionalism of Greg and his crew. We would highly recommend them to anyone who has moisture problems in their crawl space. The work carries a 20 year warranty on the liner and labor and Greg guaranteed the musty smells we were experiencing would be eliminated. And they were. The house now smells great and all allergy problems have disappeared.
"The foundation of an old house I purchased had extensive wood rot due to water and termite damage. I was referred to "Floors Sag or Shake" by my Structural Engineer. The owners, Charles Rhoden and his business partner Eddie Ivester, came to my house to give me a quote. I received a written estimate via e-mail. I accepted the contract. Payment is 1/2 upfront and 1/2 when job is complete. Throughout the project, the team was always prompt, worked incredibly hard, used quality materials, cleaned up daily and kept me updated on the progress. Eddie was on-site every day. Everyone on his crew was skilled and knew what to do. Because my house is very old (built 1938), we found several "surprises" behind the walls. I decided to increase the scope of the work. The additional costs were very reasonable. I never felt pressured. "Floors Sag & Shake" coordinated with both Trotter Waterproofing and Terminix, to ensure all of the Foundation repairs and improvements would accomplish my goals. Everything was completed on-time. They exceeded my expectations. Charles Rhoden 404-372-9431 Eddie Ivester 404-852-7546 "
"Alpha Omega Waterproofing company did an excellent job on my siding. They removed a large area of the old cedar siding with the Hardie Cement Boards. Also, replaced some of the fascia boards and trimming. Johel and his team were very detailed in their work. They showed up on time and worked long hours and they did great job with their clean-up. I would highly recommend them to other friends."
"He was very helpful. The issue with the vent was not that it was dirty but, the cent is too long. He came over and went under the house and in the basement to figure out the problem. He let us know we should cut an access panel in the deck to make sure the vent is clean and set up properly."

Basement Waterproofing questions, answered by experts
You’ll need to reseal the foundation every five to 10 years, depending on the sealant you’ve used, the moisture conditions present in and around your home, and the condition of your foundation. Having a foundation inspection conducted before reapplication can help you catch any problems before you begin resealing. Of course, if you notice any new leaks or other moisture problems at any time, it may be necessary to reseal the foundation sooner.
A plastic vapor barrier should completely cover your basement to prevent water from penetrating through the walls. This typically goes before installing insulation to prevent moisture from building up and becoming trapped on the inside of your insulation, where it can collect and lead to mold damage. Installing insulation after the vapor barrier allows for any moisture to exit the walls for better ventilation.
Preventative measures, such as maintaining drainage systems, installing sump pumps, inspecting roofs regularly, and crafting comprehensive emergency plans, can help mitigate future risks.
External pressure on the basement wall can cause it to bow inward. Soil, heavy with water saturation, is commonly the main culprit. The soil exerts immense pressure on the wall, causing it to fail, at least partially. This is known as hydrostatic pressure—these situations can occur after rainfall or simply due to regular groundwater presence and may be temporary or more permanent.
It’s not the number of weep holes that should be of concern to builders but rather their spacing. Weep holes are usually spaced anywhere between 16 inches on center when using round tubes or wicking materials and 24 inches on center when using open-head joints. This is a more conservative spacing than the 33-inch maximum spacing on center that’s mentioned in the International Residential Code. All in all, the total number of weep holes a brick exterior should have will depend on the size of the structure.
