Customers say: Quality work

"I was searching online for someone to repair my screened in porch. I found a link through Angii and submitted all my pertinent information. I received a phone call within ten minutes and scheduled a estimaate at my home. During the estimate, I asked Lawrence what his availabllillty would be and he told me he could start as soon as he got the material. He was gone about an hour, returned, and started to demo the area that needed repair. He worked until it started getting dark out, but came back promptly the next day to finished. I was thoroughly satified with their workmanship."

Welding questions, answered by experts

The average cost for a welding project is about $300, with typical costs ranging from $125 to $490. However, prices can be as low as $125 for very small jobs or exceed $1,200 for large or complex projects. Welders typically charge an hourly rate between $65 and $150, depending on their experience, and many charge a minimum fee to cover overhead and travel expenses. The total cost is influenced by several factors, including labor, the cost of materials like metal rods and shielding gas, the type of metal being welded, the project's size and complexity, and your geographic location. For a precise quote, it's best to ask a local welder for an estimate based on your specific project.

Yes, you can cut up a box spring., but you’ll need to do so in layers. You can clear the fabric and fluff away to reveal the springs before removing them as well.

Cutting round ductwork requires precision and the right tools. A duct cutter, specifically designed for circular ducts, is ideal. First, mark the cutting line on the duct using a measuring tape and pencil. Then, position the duct cutter's blade on the marked line. Apply steady pressure, rotating the cutter around the duct. The sharp blade creates a clean, precise cut. Alternatively, a reciprocating saw with a metal-cutting blade can be used for larger round ducts. Ensure the duct is securely held in place while making the cut to prevent slips and maintain accuracy.

Costs depend on unit complexity, labor, wall mounting needs, and additional accessories like floating shelves.

Welding is the process of using extreme heat—and, sometimes, pressure—to attach two pieces of metal. In contrast, metal fabrication is a more involved process that can include welding, sheet metal work, bending, and other forms of metal manipulation. Metal fabrication is a large-scale project that may or may not involve welding, while welding is more often a step in larger fabrication projects.
