Small jobs welcome

"Triple N did a great job for my project. They listened to my needs and made suggestions to make the job better. They showed up and completed the job, and was also willing to help me with some extra things that I needed done. The paint job was clean and professional done. I was very satisfied and will refer them to others in the future. I will continue to use their services for any future projects that I have. Tara was great with the communication keeping me updated. Thanks everyone!!"

"All three of the men did a great job. They had several projects to do. There was flooring for four bedrooms, three bathrooms and hallway, bathroom installation of toilet, sink and shower, wall replacement, plumbing and electrical and installation of double ovens. They had to work several hours. They were very pleasant, were thorough and were willing to do things differently, if needed. I plan to hire them again."

"Scott and his crew did dirt work and drainage rerouting on my land and got everything ready for my slab to be poured. I called a bunch of people. Not only was he the only one that came out to my property and gave me a fair estimate, he pointed out a few other things for me to think about. They came back a week later and did a phenomenal job! They were so professional and clean cut, it was nice to deal with professional’s for once. Scott is so knowledgeable about his craft that he treats your project like it’s the only one on his list. I believe he said he’s been doing it for over 20 years and it shows. I suggest Motiv to everyone who needs a job done right and hassle free. Jason T"

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

Installation typically takes 2-5 days, including preparation, pouring, and curing time.

To prep a floor for painting, start by sweeping and cleaning any loose debris that could puncture the protective material. Take out as much furniture as possible. Then lay plastic, canvas, rosin paper, or masonite sheets across the room, securing them at the edges with masking tape. Plan your painting so that you minimize the chances you’ll step in and track any splatters.

Polished concrete gets its glass-like finish from several rounds of polishing, using increasingly finer grit diamond grinding pads. The concrete’s hardness will determine which grits you need to get your desired finish. The densifier and sealer also contribute to the look of the final floor, so either talk to a concrete pro (or hire one) to achieve the right concrete floor finish.

The cost to seal concrete is around $1,500 on average, but you could spend anywhere from $1,000 to $7,000, depending on the type of sealer used and the size of the space. You may want to seal concrete that receives a large amount of foot traffic or heavy wear. While you can seal concrete yourself with materials from a home improvement store, you must ensure the surface is clean and ready to accept the sealer. Hiring a professional is often recommended to ensure good, even coverage that provides adequate protection.

New flooring costs quite a bit, so longevity is important to think about. Concrete generally has the longest life span, but it’s not always a good solution for homes with wooden subfloors. That said, hardwood floors and stone floors can last up to 100 years, and you can refinish or restore them to remove imperfections from daily wear.
