"Green Knight was my knight in shining armor or rather in a shiny big truck!!! I had bad luck with other companies I attempted to get to the house to haul away some old fence and wood. I went to HomeAdvisor this am and within a couple of hours Green Knight was here to give me a quote and as soon as I accepted, they were able to take the debris away! So nice, professional and I absolutely recommend them and will use them again as the need arises! Thank you, Green Knight!"

"My yard was a neglected mess! A BIG job! My son had been doing my yard work but moved away late last summer. I was able to keep up with the lawn but everything else was beyond my abilities & tools. Carlos arrived promptly as scheduled, to give me a very reasonable estimate. He & his crewman arrived a few days later & worked tirelessly throughout a damp, chilly spring day to clear out brush & weedy overgrown flowerbeds-while carefully leaving my azaleas & blooming annuals intact. They trimmed tree limbs, cleared a stump & cut back all my shrubs. Then cleared the massive amount debris from their work. They finished up by mowing, edging & blowing my yard. I am so impressed with their professionalism, preparedness & knowledge. I’m proud of my yard again!"

"I couldn’t be happier with the landscaping work that was done! Very professional, hardworking, and paid attention to every detail. Completely transformed my yard, leaving everything looking beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and finished the job on time. Craftsmanship and dedication really show in the final result. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality landscaping services. Thank you for a job exceptionally well done!"
Dead pine straw, bland look the slop is also killing the grass at the very bottom.
We added black mulch, weed barrier (no more weed problems) and a Windsor wall to top it off and solve the erosion issue. All done in just 1 day.

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

The best way to remove lead paint is by wet hand sanding and removing all dust and residue with a HEPA vacuum. Professionals may also strip and scrape lead-based paint with a paint scraper. In some cases, you may choose to have a pro encapsulate or enclose your lead-based paint surface by covering it with a sealant or a new material. You may also choose to replace the material altogether.

You can paint over lead paint, or “encapsulate” it with a special paint that includes an ingredient called an encapsulant. The EPA approves encapsulation as a lead paint removal method as long as the paint remains undisturbed. Standard types of paint without an “encapsulant” from the big box stores or hardware stores do not meet EPA standards for remediation of lead-based paint.

Professionals use appropriate equipment to prevent property damage and ensure efficiency.

Lead toxicity comes from inhaling lead or consuming it. Before the 1980s, when the government banned lead from consumer use, it could be found in paint, plumbing, pipes, ceramics, and even gasoline. Lead paint is toxic for the same reason lead itself is toxic, which is why lead poisoning from paint presents the same as lead poisoning from water or food sources, with a slight increase in respiratory symptoms vs. digestive symptoms. Lead paint is most dangerous when it’s old and peeling, cracking, or otherwise disturbed. This increases the concentration in the air and, therefore, in breathable air.

If the lead paint is in a place that is not easily disturbed and is not flaking or deteriorating, you do not necessarily need to remove it. Lead is toxic when dust particles or flakes from peeling lead paint are ingested. If people are not in the area with the lead paint, it may be safe to leave it in place. You still may want to consider encapsulation with a paint formulated for covering lead-based paint, just for an added layer of protection.
