Description of Work: Mr Willis ran a little late, but he had to work me into his schedule, so that wasn't unexpected. The charge for the services rendered were a little higher than quoted on the phone, but he did a nice job, it looks great, and he was very clean.

Description of Work: Everything went well. The worker was missing one piece and said he would return the next day. After a few days I called and the worker was just over whelmed with other work and had not had a chance to drop by. I can understand how busy work can get. Once he did get back to my house, the work was completed in about 5 minutes. Overall, I am very happy with the work and the service.

Description of Work: I hired Jamie Willis based on his high rating on Angie's List, and I was so glad that I did! Jamie came out and wired our new barn, which has been such a lifesaver. It can be pitch black outside, but the interior is like daylight, which makes it much easier for me to care for my animals at night. He recommended lighting choices that were just perfect and really increased the safety of the environment for my animals. We were so pleased that we had Jamie finish the wiring in our basement! Thanks to him, we are ready to finish the rest of the basement, which will house our new office, among other things. He gave us the start we needed, and we could not possibly be more satisfied. Jamie was always in touch, easy to work with and did excellent work. I highly recommend!

 + -1 moreOur pool pump was making a horrible, loud noise. I called Willis Electrical to repair it. Jamie checked it out and determined it to be in need of replacement. After the pump was looked at, he installed two light fixtures ( one is a fan/light), repaired an existing fan, and also attended to repairing a connection I thought of while he was at our home. Jamie is very professional. All work was performed in a timely manner, and he is a good communicator. He did everything when, and how, he told us he would. We are very pleased!
Description of Work: Pool pump replaced. Ceiling fan/light installed. Chandelier installed. Ceiling fan repaired.

 + -1 moreI called Willis Electric to inquire about having a chain-hoist fixed in the hay loft of my barn. He arrived on time to look at it . He knew how to read a wiring diagram. He bought the required part(s), installed them and made sure the hoist worked before telling me he was finished. I felt his price to be reasonable and the quality of his work above average. I will call on Willis Electric again in the future.
Description of Work: The chain-hoist in my barn stopped working. Twice I had electricians say they would call back to set an appointment time to look at the hoist and they did not call back to set the appointment. Willis Electric set up an appointment with me during our first contact He kept his appointment time and did the repair work during that time.

On the appointed date for his service, he kept me updated on his arrival time as his schedule progressed. He did the job in a timely manner and his bill was very reasonable. PS He even took his shoes off before he entered my house!
Description of Work: Mr. Willis repaired the power to my oven and changed the remote frequency in one of my ceiling fans.

 + -1 moreI found myself with the main breaker on the outside of my house suddenly at the height of the heat wave we are having going bad - I called Willis Electric and they came right out and after checking everything out, searched for the right breaker and was back at my house the next morning to coordinate with the power company for a disconnect - repaired it and all while I was at work. What service!! If you need electrical work call Willis Electric!

 + -1 moreWe had electrical outlets that had ceased to function in two different rooms of the house. Jamie came out, investigated the problem and immediately found the problem was a bad breaker. He made the trip to purchase the breaker and came back and installed it the same day. Because of the positive experience we had him run electricity to an out building near our house. In both cases Jamie responded immediately and had the job done within 24 hours of being called. He was courteous, respectful and polite in all interactions. We would call him again.

He was very knowledgeable and professional and was a pleasure to work with. He did the job quickly and left his work area so clean we could hardly tell he had been here. His fees were so reasonable, we had him back to install some new light fixtures and do other work for us. We wouldn't use anyone else; he's the best!
