"Do NOT hire this contractor. We purchased our home on 1/6/2021 and contracted with Rich / Bellohue on 1/20/21 for new kitchen cabinets. At the time of contracting, we paid him 50% of the agreed upon cost. Rich told us that he would be able to get to our project in 4 or 5 weeks (should be 2/24/21 at latest). It was estimated that the cabinet demo and install would take 1-2 days for the size of our kitchen. I followed up with Rich around this timeframe, and he said that he would need 2-3 weeks more (should be 3/17/21 at latest). Followed up again - needs more time. On 3/26/21, Rich promised that he was going to the shop later that day and would give us a DEFINITE date for install. He offered to throw in some floating shelves for free for the delay. Seemed like a nice gesture so we gave him the benefit of the doubt and agreed to extra time (not that we really had any leverage in the situation anyway). Rich says that he is putting us down for a 4/12/21 installation. Great news, right? Nope - the day before (4/11/21) at 5 pm, Rich tells us that he made a mistake and mixed up cabinet measurements on two jobs so he has to do some rework. He resets the installation date for 4/19. This is unfortunate because I had already made arrangements to be off work for the day to be home for the demo / install. Also, we had already cleared out our kitchen cabinets in preparation for the demo / install. I follow up with Rich the day before the new install date (4/18) to see what time we should expect him the following day. Rich responds that one of his workers is sick and won't come in tomorrow but will be back on Weds. I quote, "your kitchen is ready and will get installed this week." Sets installation for 4/21/21. I check in with Rich on 4/20/21 to see if we are still on for the following day. Rich said that he is waiting for his guy to respond and they "still need to put everything together, hardware doors, drawers, etc). We will be there on Thursday (4/22)." But wait? I thought our kitchen was ready? On Thursday, Rich says they need another day because they are waiting on Fed Ex to arrive with more hardware. Again... I thought our kitchen was ready? The cabinets get dropped off on 4/23 to our garage. The majority of the installation happens on 4/24/21. We are missing a few things (trim work, back of cabinet, cabinet shelving, dishwasher falls forward bc trim piece does not hold it in). We pay Rich the remainder of the money - which was a mistake. To date, we are still missing the back of 1 cabinet, trim, and the floating shelves he promised us as compensation. To summarize, I have been following up with Rich at varying time intervals. He never responds on the first time and when he does respond, he makes promises that he cannot keep. It is now JULY 16th, 6 MONTHS after we contracted with him, and we still don't have a completed kitchen. I hate writing bad reviews for people. I understand that things happen that are outside of our control. However, we have given Rich every benefit of the doubt along the way. He does not communicate well and cannot stick to a timeline. I'm sure at this point, we will not be getting our job completed, despite what he says. Craftsmanship was good but not worth this headache. Do not hire. *If the work ever gets completed, I will update this review."

"Fantastic! They came out gave us an estimate for the work that needed to be done. The team came out on a Monday and the work was done by Friday! It looked like a brand new kitchen after they re-surfaced the cabinets. Highly recommend this company. Jason and his team were amazing with helping us get our house ready to sell. I called Jason after the work was completed as the lazy Susan cabinets was not working properly. Jason had one of his carpenters come right out and fixed it within 5 minutes--outcome it worked even better than before."

"The downstairs project went so well that we plan to hire Hearth and Haven to finish the upstairs as soon as it's safe after the coronavirus pandemic is under control. We have ended up with such a great livable space where we can watch TV, eat, and hang out with our dogs. Heather has such a great eye for detail, and she understands the importance of color and graphic design elements. She is infinitely patient and creative, and she is so organized that I would give her a medal if I could. All the work got done promptly and Heather also took the time to meet us at various stores to help pick out rugs and other accessories to make the whole downstairs shine. We never could have guessed that once Covid-19 came on the scene, our new downstairs would be a perfect place for our adult daughters to quarantine when they visited us. Both were knocked out by how good the downstairs looks now. "It's the best apartment I've ever stayed in," said each of our girls who both live in Washington, D.C. and know a thing or two about apartment living."
