"I highly recommend Sergio and his team. From start to finish, the entire experience was amazing. At the estimate, Sergio showed up with examples of the materials he would provide, discussed our options, and patiently worked with us as we considered what work provided the changes we wanted to see in our home. Sergio even made a second trip out to answer additional questions and provide a revised estimate when we decided on additional work, something we were able to do because his pricing was fair. His estimate was detailed, complete, and easy to understand. When the work began, he was on time, courteous, quiet, and clean as he worked in our home. His dress and demeanor was always appropriate and respectful. He covered our floors and furniture, cleaned up thoroughly, and left our home as if it was his own each of the four days he was here. Additionally, he didn't ask for a lot of additional prep, such as rearranging our home. He understood the home was occupied, and made only reasonable requests for his work. His crew was equally polite. As a wife and mom who works from home each day, this was important to me. When the work was complete, my husband and I reviewed it carefully. It is worth noting, my husband is a perfectionist and a commercial construction superintendent. We were both amazed by the quality and care Sergio and his team had taken to complete their work. We did not find any work that needed correction. It was flawless from the start, and carefully checked by Sergio himself before he presented it as complete. I simply cannot say enough how impressed I am with this group!"

"The 2 men were here on time worked quietly and steady together and got the cabinets installed. They hooked up plumbing to sink and connected the dishwasher and refrigerator lines. All looks good and works properly. I am very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to use this company in the future."

"Ron uses USA wood rather than cheaper imported wood. He paints/stains the fence with a sprayer which provides a solid color. He does what he says he will do and did not require any payment until his work was finished."

Woodworking questions, answered by experts

If you don’t have a coping saw, you can use an angle grinder to cope crown molding, but it takes a little more precision. Place your molding down on your workbench, angle the grinder at a 45-degree angle toward the molding, and back cut the wood. You’ll need to carefully angle your grinder to accommodate the curves in the wood, and aim to remove around 1 inch from the profile of the molding.

Labor plays a significant role in the installation of butcher block countertops. Depending on who you hire, your location, the customization level of the project, and whether the wood is already finished, you may pay a professional between $10 and $150 per square foot to install a butcher block countertop. On average, expect the per-hour price to run between $60 and $100.

Carpenters are trained to take on a wide range of home projects. You can hire a carpenter to do framing, roofing, build custom furniture, and make significant upgrades to your home. General carpenters are usually able to handle most jobs. However, you may also choose to hire a carpenter who specializes in a specific type of carpentry.

Many modern homes have soffits, but older ones don’t, and you may be wondering why. Older homes have eaves that extend further beyond the home and help to circulate air, negating the need for a soffit. This style of building has faded away, therefore, modern homes need separate soffit installation. Modern soffits are more efficient than this older style and require less material to construct, saving homeowners money.

When building a house, it is customary to use 16d nails that measure 3 1/2 inches in length to construct the frame. These nails are crucial in providing the necessary support and stability for structural elements like joists and studs, which ensures a sturdy framework.
