"After purchasing the Angie's List deal, it took several weeks of playing phone tag with the company representative to finally get a home visit to inspect the work I wanted to have done. Then, it took several more weeks before the work happened. I didn't have to be home while it took place, but when I came home afterwards I noticed the extra dollars they wanted to charge me for digging, was unnecessary because the wires were exposed in a lot of places and barely covered by my rocks in other places. Not the quality I hoped for nor expected. I thought 'underground' was exactly that but I guess not so in this case.
However, I'm glad they left me with additional bulbs for my landscape lights and the lights along with the timer device, have worked exceptionally well since the installation.  I received a bill for the additional digging work (that was never performed) and ignored it, then called to dispute it and received a 'disconnected' auto message. Not sure if they are still in business at another location, but would not recommend them.

"The design and quality of the landscaping was excellent.  The crew was professional and hard working.  I required some irrigation re-routing which took a few attempts to get perfect but they listened to my needs and got it all going well.  The large trees were installed over 2 days and done very well.  All of the trees were in good health.  Many other smaller plants were installed to complete a quality landscaping look.  A few unplanned trips were needed for them to help finish installation of some grass but they eventually got all the grass in as well.
My biggest complaint was some removal of some deck pavers that were not theirs.  They were leftover from the pool deck and they moved them so they could do the landscaping but took them away without asking permission.  I repeatedly asked for their return over weeks and was assured they would be.  I eventually gave up since it became clear the return of my property was not important to them.  I would have given them a much higher score if not for this.

"When I hired Laurie's Landscaping I explained I wanted the vine and a patch of caine removed, which was also overgrown. Two landscapers showed up 2 days later and worked very fast removing the vine and the caine. I was disappointed to discover that only the side of vine on my property was removed, which wouldn't resolve the problem; my neighbor's side of the fence was still covered with vine. The landscaper didn't want to remove the vine from my neighbor's side until we discussed it with Laurie. When I explained to Laurie what the problem was, she charged me an extra $75 (she originally was going to charge me an additional $150, but we renegotiated that down to $75). I never thought I'd have to pay extra for the vine on my neighbor's side given that it was all the same vine."
