Layout Development is a company focused on the welfare of our clients. Established in 2010, We are located in the Tampa area. We are specialized in all kind of remodeling and maintenance (commercial and residential). Unfortunately, we do not offer tile/grout cleaning or replacement services. Our crew is very professional.

"Marco was able to get the job done for the right price, quality and time. Would recommend him for backsplash work."

We're a small construction business serving the Tampa Bay Area since 2006. We have 5 state certified construction licenses to assist our clients in their projects. We are a one stop construction full service company. We are certified general contractor, roofing, plumbing, electrical and mechanical contractor. Licensed, bonded and insured.

"I had a complete gut of my condo due to water damage coming from the unit above mine. I called One Call, and the owner came out immediately. He gave me an estimate the same day and I accepted it. I have more than one property and have had to employ different contractors over the years. My experience with most of the folks doing construction has always been less than pleasant. Most of the time I regretted not going to law school just to deal with these people. Anyway, I found One Call on Angles List and for the first time ever, Will the owner of One Call made it as painless as was possible for me. He was there every day for more than three weeks checking on the work. I didn't have to push, cajole, or scream. This job got done fast I'm happy for a change dealing with something like this. I recommend Will and his team. He did it right for me."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

When removing an old security alarm system, you likely won't need to remove any of the wiring. Wiring can either be left in place for a replacement system or capped off for safety and pushed into the wall. If you're uncomfortable with the wiring, or if it's badly damaged, contact a professional electrician for assistance with safe removal.

If your fan is ceiling-mounted and will vent through the attic to the outside, you will need an electrician to handle the wiring, and if you need to install ductwork for the first time or replace existing ductwork, you will need an HVAC professional as well.

For a 200-amp underground service, you need a minimum of #2/0 American Wire Gauge (AWG) copper or #4/0 AWG aluminum or copper-clad wire. Don’t forget that, at minimum, you’ll need to use a 1 1/2-inch schedule 40 or 80 PVC conduit to successfully run a 200-amp underground service.

It’s not recommended to turn off your breaker box in hopes of saving electricity. Breaker boxes were not designed to constantly be switched on and off. Therefore, turning off breakers unnecessarily can cause costly damage that outnumbers any energy savings. Only flip your breakers if absolutely necessary when troubleshooting an electrical issue.

The size of your home will help determine the size of your electrical panel. Usually, the decision comes down to a 100-amp electrical panel versus a 200-amp panel. Smaller homes, especially those without an HVAC system, may be able to get by with a 100-amp panel.

If you have a larger home or need to power AC, a 200-amp panel should be the best fit. It’s unlikely that you’ll need a larger panel than that unless you have a larger home or unique electrical needs, but an electrician can help you make the final call.
