"Florida Keys Landscaping Services removed a 25-foot coconut tree that was in a tight location with sheds and boats nearby. We called on Thursday and someone came to give a quote that evening. The price was quite reasonable and we agreed that they would come the next day to remove the tree. The workmen arrived on time, cut down the tree, removed the debris and cleaned the area in about one hour. Polite, professional and efficient. We couldn’t be more pleased."

"Proscape Lawn Service deserves a special mention!! I cannot express how grateful I am to you. My house finally has the special touch it was missing. It is incredible what good landscaping can do for the price value and look of a home! William, the owner, was very hands-on direct on all prices. Straight to the point, no beating around the bush. What he says is what it is! I can really appreciate the no hidden fees, as we all know those are almost everywhere. I recommend them to all my friends and family. Thanks so much, Proscape."

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

Buffalo grass does not turn green as early in the spring as some other grasses. If you have a heavily shaded yard, buffalo grass may not receive enough sunlight to thrive. It’s not as dense as some other grass varieties, so it may not feel as comfortable on bare feet.

Typically seasonally, but tailored schedules depend on local conditions and plant types.

Like sugar, the common household staple baking soda has uses in the yard. Baking soda boosts your plants to resist pests, fungal growth, and more. So, baking soda is good for your plants in certain instances, but exercise caution, as using too much could kill your plants. It’s great for hunting for pesky weeds, but not great for tending to a sensitive garden.

If you have a lot of tree roots in your yard or have experienced issues in the past, you should use tree root killer every six months to prevent roots from infiltrating your pipes. If you have an active invasion and aren’t seeing results, check the instructions on the bottle to see how often you can use it in a short period of mine.

Pulling weeds once per month is typically often enough to keep most weeds at bay. But in general, it's best to pull weeds as soon as you spot them to prevent deep root growth and slow their spread. To make it easier, plan your weed pulling after rain or after the sprinklers run so the soil will be nice and wet and the weeds will be easier to pull. If you notice moss accompanying weeds, make a plan to remove the moss immediately to prevent damage.
