"Mr Francois was highly professional, working efficiently and with great attention to detail. Not only was he skilled in the assembly, but he also demonstrated potential as an organizer, ensuring everything was neatly arranged and clean after the job was done. "I hired Billy to replace my front front and rear exterior doors. He did such a good job that I ended up hiring him to replace my interior doors and trim. He also pressure cleaned and painted the outside of my house, and repainted our pool deck. He repaired some odds and ends around the place. And we had him update or guest bathroom. He was terrific . Highly recommended ."

Customers say: Quick response

"Mr. Gillett came to my home, listened to my concerns, evaluated the project and presented a professional proposal in a timely manner. We hired him for the cleaning gutter project. He showed on time, completed the project professionally and timely. I discussed with Mr. Gillett other projects that I would be interested in for the future. I will be employing OG Customes Handyman Services for my future projects. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a handyman."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

You can install an aboveground pool on various surfaces, including dirt, sand, concrete, and grass. You can’t install a pool on an uneven surface, though, so be sure to level the ground before building your pool. You also can’t install your pool on top of a rocky surface. Three or 4 inches of smooth sand or soil is the ideal surface to go under an aboveground pool.

Pool chemical levels should include a pH between 7.4 and 7.6, alkalinity between 80 to 120 ppm, and chlorine from 1 to 3 ppm. The size and type of your pool determine additional chemical levels, such as stabilizers and pool shock, but you can get to know these numbers using our pool maintenance 101 guide.

Off-season pool-building prices often align with the time of year you're least likely to use a pool. Many contractors offer deals in the late fall and winter to bolster the slow time of year. However, if you live in an area with freezing winters, you'll need to wait beyond the final frost and threats of extreme weather.

It takes more electricity to run one, so it’s not necessarily cheaper to run a salt water pool. However, the cost difference is relatively minor; it may cost an extra $50 over the course of a year. However, salt costs a lot less than chlorine sanitizers. This lowers the overall maintenance costs for a salt water pool compared to chlorine pools.

You can usually use the water from your tap to refill your pool, whether it's city water or well water. If you're going to use well water to fill your pool, make sure you have an adequate amount of water available and that the water is free of contaminants. A water delivery service may also be able to bring water to refill your pool.
