"The work that Jeff and Matt do is always great they work well together and pay attention to details. I will always use them for home repair and tree work. Jeff can limb and cut trees. I’ve used his skills for about eight years now. I recommend them for quality, their honesty, work ethic and fair pricing."

"Both guys were very nice and wore masks the whole time. They did not wear booties while walking throughout the house but I let it go. I have a three story house counting the finished basement and 32 ducts. I was a little surprised when they showed up in an SUV instead of a truck but they assured me they had the right equipment. They removed and cleaned all returns with a whip type brush attached to a drill which spins inside the duct while they suck the soil back to the furnace with a big vac at the furnace. They do not remove the intake vents, but said they run the whip back to them from the furnace. The problem is that the whip is not long enough to reach all the way through the duct runs and I would think a brush the size of the duct would work better. After they finished, we replaced the old 5" thick filter and ran the system for a while. A number of large clumps of dirt still came through. I then replaced the filter with a new one and checked it after 5 days, picture attached. The new filter was already pretty dirty and still had some clumps of dirt in it. Maybe this is normal, but it seems like this should not happen if the ducts are really cleaned thoroughly. My conclusion is that the ducts are much cleaner than they were, but that this system is not the best based on my results. Since their price was lower than some, I guess I got what I paid for. They did offer to clean my dryer vent but I did not have them do it because it is a very short run outside. I would hire them again if they improved their method or equipment."

"We LOVE the system!  The cabinetry came out perfect and my husband loves his remote control and surround sound and i can actually operate everything which is a miracle on its own!    When people walk into our home they all comment on how beautiful our unit looks and we recommend them to all of our friends and neighbors.  The owner Seth was a pleasure to deal with and helped with all the technical questions we had.  Thank you again!

"I am very happy with the service provided. This is a family owned guest house that we also use as a vacation rental, so time was of the essence to have the broken a/c fixed. We were satisfied with the price and now the air feels crisp and cool!

FAQs for central vacuum system service projects in Perry, FL

Common repairs for central vacuum cleaners include motor repair, electrical repair, and blocked filters. Central vacuum motor issues typically come with a burning smell and loss of suction. With these issues, you might need simple lubrication to keep it running smoothly, or for more extreme problems, you could need a motor replacement.

Electrical problems or losing suction strength, might be reasons to swap out electrical components for new ones. However, a local central vacuum repair professional can tell you the best plan of action for your system.

The average cost for central vacuum cleaner repair is $310, though prices can range from $120 to $500. Your total cost will depend on the type of repair needed and the type of central vacuum you own.

A minor motor repair, like lubrication, only costs around $50. However, if you need to replace your motor, you’ll be looking at a much higher price tag with a total of $100 to $500. Other fixes, like electrical work, are charged by the hour, which ranges from $15 to $55 per hour.

The average cost to hire an HVAC contractor is between $50 and $150 per hour if charging hourly. However, some HVAC contractors will charge a flat fee by the type of service they are performing—for example, an inspection can cost between $150 to $500. Keep in mind that emergency repairs—which are made after business hours or around major holidays—generally cost more than scheduled repairs.

Yes, most states require HVAC technicians to be certified, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed HVAC technician could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

The cost for air duct cleaning is about $380, on average. However, costs can range between $270 and $500, depending on location, number of vents, duct accessibility, and how much cleaning is required. Additional factors can impact the cost of cleaning your air ducts, such as removing pests, mold and mildew, asbestos, and other unforeseen needs. Any repairs will also add to the cost of the job.
