The Solar Guys was founded by John & Marilyn Teel in 2001 in response to the rapid demand for quality, innovative natural day lighting products, and Solatube was the obvious choice. Since 2001 The Solar Guys has grown from a small home based company to largest Solatube dealer in the United States. Our territory originally included Alachua, Marion, Citrus, Lake and Sumter counties. In 2010 The Solar Guys acquired the Orlando market as part of our service area.
