I have used Vanguard in the past and was very happy with them, so I called and got an appointment for Monday and was OK being without water for a day or so. David (tech) texted me 30 min later and said he could come earlier on Monday which was great, and when I explained what was happening in more detail, he offered to come out right then, on a Saturday! I explained that I could wait until Monday, but he insisted, and was there in a hour, and had it fixed 45min later. Thank you David! And if you are looking for a plumber, don’t go anywhere else!"

I have used Vanguard in the past and was very happy with them, so I called and got an appointment for Monday and was OK being without water for a day or so. "I used this company once before. It was satisfactory so I decided to use them again. Yesterday, at 6:15am, I called Benjamin Franklin plumbing regarding an emergency broken pipe in my front yard. The dispatcher told me they would send someone out as an urgent call. Then she informed me it could be between 8am and 12pm. I again informed her that the emergency was that water could possibly come into my home. She told me yes; she would mark the call as urgent. I then called Polk County utilities to shut off my water. They arrived at 8:20am and was able to turn off the water. I was patiently waiting for Benjamin Franklin to arrive and at 11:30am I received a call saying that now no one could be here till 3PM. I then said I would go to a Dr. Appointment I had and would be back before the 3PM appointment. At 3:30pm, I called Benjamin Franklin plumbing, and they now told me I would have to wait till 6pm. I said to the dispatcher I been waiting just about 12 hour I cancelled the call."

Omar was unable to restore my system to its original condition; he had to remove the irrigation valve because he did not have the fittings to attach it to the pipes, so now my system has no irrigation valve. I asked for a discount because parts of my system were being removed so that the leak could be fixed, but the owner informed me that I should have called an irrigation company. They claim to be REPIPING EXPERTS with expertise in drain line repairs and sewers, but do not bring basic plumbing fittings to the job. If I were the owner of a company and my employee did not have what he needed to do the job, I would either offer the customer a discount or I would send the employee back out to do the job right. At least the leak was solved."

Very nice and very patient with all my questions. He took the time to show me how to turn my water off at the meter, where to get a meter key. He was logical and thorough with his work.
