"LG & OD CORP was very professional and accommodating. They assembled 5 pieces of furniture on short notice. (3 beds and 2 dressers) They did an excellent job w the assembly. They arrived on time and they were also efficient. Without having to be ansked, they took off their shoes when walking on the carpet. Extremely curious and mindfind. Will definitely hire again! "I can not be more impressed by Kevin’s expertise and professionalism. In my backyard he built a wooden deck around a very large tree with a rooftop that is also going to be used for entertaining. Before he even started the construction, the way unloaded, carried and set down all the heavy wood planks and his equipment already told me it was going to be a success. The concrete footers used to anchor the posts, the heavy duty hardware and the choice of wood makes this whole structure aesthetically perfect and indestructible. The work was executed with great care and organization. Highly skilled, respectful, good-hearted and reliable to the max! You can not find another one like Kevin in South Florida!"

Customers say: True professional

"Jesus was a true professional! I needed a few repairs on my deck and some renovation and he and his partner not only made the necessary repairs but made my deck look like new! On top of that, he did it days before 4th July weekend allowing us to have our BBQ on our newly Reno Deck! He is a must hire for deck repairs/installations and any other repairs around the house. Looking forward to future projects with Jesus! He’s a keeper and should be recommended to all. Thanks Jesus for a great job!"

Kenny was professional, reliable, and paid close attention to every detail throughout the process. The finished floor looks amazing and has completely transformed the space. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and the work was completed on time and with great care. We highly recommend Capital Crafter Consulting and Kenny to anyone looking for quality workmanship and outstanding service."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Generally, you do not need to drain your pool to convert it to a saltwater system. The main exception is if you have used an antibacterial agent containing polyhexamethylene biguanide to sanitize your pool, as these sanitation products do not mix well with saltwater systems. If this is the case, you will need to start fresh. You can either drain the pool or treat the existing water with a high dose of chlorine to remove the antibacterial agent. If you choose the chlorine treatment, wait several days to allow the chlorine to work before proceeding with the conversion. If you are unsure whether this applies to your pool, consult a pool technician.

You shouldn’t swim in a pool with algae. When there’s algae, there’s also bacteria that’s feeding on the algae. Also, algae-infested pool water is often chemically imbalanced, which means germs like Cryptosporidium, Giardia, and E.coli could be present. These germs can cause a range of illnesses from gastrointestinal issues, to rashes, and respiratory problems.

The best thing to do is to get rid of the algae first, test and balance the water, and then you can enjoy swimming without any worries.

Pool light replacements are often more expensive compared to other pool parts, like pump motors, or standard light bulbs for indoor use. The reason for the higher cost is that pool lights are specially designed and made with parts meant to keep swimmers safe. The light fixture and surrounding parts protecting the bulb must be waterproof, tightly sealed, and resistant to extreme temperatures.

Yes, you will need building permits for an inground pool, and your pool installation company should pull them for you. The permit filing fee will usually sit between $400 and $1,800, and it should appear on your contract or invoice. You may want to confirm with your contractor that they will pull all necessary permits. You might also need a permit for a new fence, as many municipalities have special fencing requirements for properties with pools. A fence permit costs between $50 and $500. This expense may not be included in your pool installation estimate.

Yes, it's possible to make an aboveground zero-edge pool. Note that it's most common to build an inground one, but, if you raise the deck and surrounding poolscape, you can install an aboveground version. Keep in mind, if you need to haul in dirt, it can significantly raise your land prep costs.
