APs Cleaning ServiceAmanda cleaned the Church twice a week for nearly a year. I could rely on the fact that the church was going to be clean and smell clean on Sundays and Wednesdays. She was thorough with the work that was assigned to be done, which included dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and clean foyer, which has a lot of glass. Be careful! The owner, David, assured me he did counter tops a lot. He took my parent's money (half down, $400). He then stated that his stone cutter was burned out, did we have one? We loaned him a cutter that we had, and then he asked if we had saw horses. We asked him if he really had done granite before and he assured us he did. His Dad began to cut/rip the pre-fab slab and was making a very wavy line. My son whose Dad is a CGC, told him to stop. It was ruining the expensive granite. My son then clamped a square pipe and finished ripping the stone in a straight line. David left to go buy some tools and came back with a cutter. We asked if he had hole cutters or a buffing wheel and he said no, he'd have to come back. My husband told him that he should give the money back or he could help for the day, but that he was not prepared and did not know how to install granite and should have stated so. He spoke with kindness, but definitely ripped off my parents. He left and did not do anything but take my parents money. Should not be on Angi's List as a legitimate company. Not sure we will use Angi's List as a resource again.

Recent Review:
DKI has charged us $27,000.00 to pack and store our contents. This is unbelievable for a small 3 BR 2 Bath Ranch style house! Our contents were held hostage until we paid the whole amount. The email said as per the owner, we had to pay in full to get our contents back! Our contents stayed in storage uncleaned. They invoiced us $38,000.00 for water mitigation which included charges for a generator, which they didn't have. My house had power which they used. They went so far as to say they sent a worker three times to get gas for the non existent generator! Pure fraud! I have pictures and other proof! They said the workers used the most expensive and high end PPE when we were there every day and saw only masks and respirators the first day only! They charged for one of their supervisors being there to oversee the operation when she was actually gone on other jobs they had in Lake Charles and the surrounding area. She actually went home to Florida for a week or so. The fact that they would come down to Lake Charles that had been devastated by two Cat 4 storms within 6 weeks of each other and take advantage of peoples hard luck is unconscionable! $54,000.00! Desired Outcome/Settlement Desired Settlement: Billing Adjustment When we signed the agreement to do the work we asked the sales rep who sold us on the company and the supervisor who was present how much this would cost. The sales rep said around $10,000.00 for contents and $10,000.00 to $12,000.00 for the water mitigation. I just want a fair price for what was done and that the BBB write them up for fraud (generator and power distribution and worker going to get gas. Write the owner for holding contents hostage until we paid in full knowing we hadn't gotten insurance money yet.

I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. Granite Gold also provides excellent professional support.
