"Donna is honest, hardworking and I trust her.  She is fair with me on price and does a fantastic job.  She brought an assistant with her and they came up with a better solution by hanging them from the ceiling.  I can raise them up and down when needed and they are no longer taking up space in my garage.  So pleased with this clever and practical idea. I would use them again in the future.

"Jeff came out to look at the foyer ceiling on a Friday morning to see how he could replace the light. He told me he could probably do it on Sunday or the next week, but then he called me right back and said he had assistance and could do it that very same day! He and Buddy came back that afternoon and did an excellent job of replacing the lights in a very timely manner for a very reasonable cost. My husband was out of town, and I hadn't finished assembling one of the lights. Even though that wasn't part of the estimate, they also helped me assemble the light. The lights look and work great! I couldn't be happier. I have used Elite Home Services for other jobs in the past, and they have never let me down. They will always be the first company I call for ANY home improvement/repair because they are true professionals, reasonably priced, and very honest!"

"

I have used them for small things like wall sockets and ceiling fans, they don't replace faucets .I really thought about dropping them because

at 50.00/month and not using them that is $600.00 /year I could save. I guess I have Paid for 3 washers since I've used them. They could definitely be a benefit to so one with an older home. I give them a grade of A.

Ceiling Fans questions, answered by experts

The direction you want your ceiling fan to move in depends on the season you’re in. During summer, you want it to move counterclockwise to produce a cooling downdraft. During winter, you want it to move clockwise to circulate warm air throughout the room.

Ceiling fans require periodic cleaning of blades to avoid dust accumulation, checking screws and connections for firmness, and occasional lubrication for components, keeping the fan running smoothly and quietly over time.

Yes, you can install a ceiling fan where a standard light fixture is, as the electrical wiring is often similar and may not need to be replaced. The most important step is to ensure the ceiling can support the fan's weight and motion. You will need to replace the existing light fixture's electrical box with a fan-rated electrical box, which is specifically designed to handle the extra weight and vibration. These boxes will be labeled as suitable for ceiling fan support and will indicate the maximum weight they can hold. Before you begin, also consider if you need an extension rod for a high ceiling or a special mount for an angled ceiling.

There are several telltale signs to let you know that your ceiling fan needs servicing or replacement. For instance, if it’s wobbling, rotating too slowly, or if your ceiling fan is making noise such as squeaks, buzzes, and thumps, it’s time to have it looked at by a professional. Not only may it indicate a potential problem with the fan itself, but it could also signal a red flag that it’s improperly assembled or there’s an issue with the wiring.

To determine if your ceiling box can support a fan, you must check if it is specifically fan-rated. Manufacturers are required to indicate this on the box itself. You may need to remove the existing light fixture to look inside the ceiling box for an inscription stating it is rated for fan use. If you do not see this confirmation, the box is likely not strong enough and must be replaced with a fan-rated junction box. For a proper and safe installation, you should also use a fan brace to secure the new box between the ceiling joists, which provides the necessary support for the fan's weight and motion.
