"I have used Shawn on several occasions including toilet repair, replace faucet, replacing Undermount sink, repairing reverse osmosis system just a name a few. I have dealt with a lot of vendors over my adult life and it is very hard to find somebody who is responsive, dedicated, and dependable. Shawn meets all of these qualities and more. I recently had a leak in my house and called Shawn right away to identify the source. He felt that the source was coming from the bathroom. However, my homeowners insurance recommended calling a leak detection company. They came out and said that the leak was coming from a different room. Sure enough, no leak was identified there and the leak detection company had to come back out and it turned out that the leak was where Shawn originally said it was. He came out right away on his busy schedule and took care of the problem with a good attitude and a smile on his face even though it was at the end of the day. "Had Carr out about a year and a half before starting project to 'bid' and they were good enough to 'update' bid prices over the phone so that I could compare w/ other companies vying for the work. They also referred three electricians, all of whom were good 'leads', two of whom were extremely professional and helpful in their bidding the electrical aspect. I'm particularly grateful that D'Andrea Electric insisted we contact TECO before installing TruTankless!!! We could have cut through months of 'B.S.' had the second plumbing company been as upfront about the very real possibility that our amperage wasn't sufficient to the power surge of a Tankless system! Even when we were about to go w/ Tankless, Carr gave us another excellent referral of FWT to install the water softener at less cost than Kielty had been quoting. It was with almost relief that we finally realized Carr's bid for the hybrid we ended up going with instead was (most) reasonable so that we gave both the work of putting in the water heater AND the water softener to them. Carr came out as quickly as they could (after months of being in limbo, we were up against holiday/travel plans) and installed both systems in one morning. When the county called for additional 'venting' to clear the permit, Chuck, our installation fellow was 'on it' immediately. It's always nice to have the permit inspectors say, '_____, good company!' as they did when they heard Carr had done both installations. We feel fairly confident that we'll have years of service from both the Rheem and the Fleck system or if there are future problems, Carr will stand behind us through any warranty 'issues'.show more

"The sales person came from Sarasota to go over the job with me and explain all the details.&nbsp; He did a great job off explaining the entire process and answered all my questions. <br /> It was a two day job where 2 technicians removed all hot and cold water shutoffs, shower valves and connections from the water heater.&nbsp; They connected pressure valves to all locations and sand blasted the copper pipes.&nbsp; Once all pipes were clean and dry an epoxy is blown into all pipes to seal any pin hole leaks in the copper.&nbsp; Once the epoxy dries all shutoffs are replaced with new quarter turn valve shutoffs. <br /> The technicians covered the floor areas where they needed to walk through and work, with protective brown paper.&nbsp; Overall they were neat and clean and&nbsp; provided a temporary cold water line to a sink and toilet so I could stay in the house overnight.&nbsp; All restored plumbing valves were done exactly as I had requested. <br /> The only issue I had was a broken shower valve that occurred during the process.&nbsp; The contract clearly states that any shower valves damaged are the responsibility of the home owner.&nbsp; However the tech did not tell me&nbsp; it&nbsp; was broken and put the handle back on as though nothing had happened.&nbsp; I discovered two days later that the valve was broken, when the handle fell off in my hand.&nbsp; When I contacted the office they advised me that I could get a new replacement Moen shower valve at no charge.&nbsp; I did that and replaced the valve, which is working fine.&nbsp; My dismay was at the integrity of the technician, who, in my opinion, should have told me up front it broke and I could have gotten the part a lot sooner. <br /> <br /> <br />show more
