"Big D remodeled my bathroom. It is beautiful. Big D does excellent work. He is dependable and very trustworthy and honest. His prices are fair and honest. I will ask him back to do more work in my home, whatever I need, whenever I need it. There are not many handymen around like Big D anymore. Thanks Big D for an outstanding job."

"We had a major bedroom & bathroom remodel that we had to fire the original contractor on. We brought in Abernethy Enterprises to fix and finish the work. They did the work on-time, with superior quality craftsmanship, for a very competitive price, and their customer service was stellar. Sean, the owner, is extremely easy to work with. Major remodels can be very stressful at times but Sean helped center us, collaborate, and always made himself available to us. It was great working with a family-owned company like theirs that allowed us to work with the same people throughout. We are looking forward to hiring Abernethy Enterprises again for another remodel we want to do soon!"

"Frank Fornier is amazing! He is very knowledgeable about many things. In addition, he is very skillful and neat. He arrives on time and does the job to completion. A second call is not necessary. We live out of state and fell confident about his work without seeing it."

Trampoline Assembly questions, answered by experts

Many suppliers offer installation services, either directly or through reliable subcontractors. Discuss these needs when ordering, as they may require additional scheduling or payment.

The average cost to install a playground is around $500, with most homeowners spending between $150 and $1,200 on installation labor. The total project cost can range from $500 to $2,500. These prices typically do not include the playground equipment itself, which can cost an additional $100 to $1,500.

Several factors influence the final installation cost:

  • Playset Details: The type, size, material, design complexity, and number of accessories.

  • Site Preparation: Costs may increase if the land needs to be leveled.

  • Yard Accessibility: Difficult access for installers can raise labor costs.

  • Customization: Custom-built playgrounds are more expensive to install than premade kits.

  • Permits: Local permitting fees may apply.

Additionally, remember to budget for playground surfacing, which can cost $15 to $160 per cubic yard, or up to $225 per cubic yard for poured rubber.

Whether an in-ground or a portable basketball hoop is better depends on the available space and its usage. For hoops that will experience frequent play, an in-ground basketball goal will be a more durable option. On the other hand, a portable basketball hoop can be the better option for smaller spaces that can’t have a permanent hoop installed.

It may be tempting to DIY the construction of a swing set to save money, but we don’t recommend it. Since children will use the swing set, the entire system must be solid and safe, meaning the cost savings aren’t worth potentially endangering them. Plus, most DIYers will have to build their swing sets out of wood, which won’t last as long as metal or vinyl and introduces the risk of splinters. Instead, hire a local playground equipment installer to ensure the swing set is built safely and efficiently, setting up your kids for fun for years to come.

The time to install your basketball hoop depends on the type of hoop you're installing.

For in-ground hoops, it's best to allow at least five days total for the entire process, which includes any utility marking, hole excavation, anchor placement, concrete pouring and setting, and final setup of the hoop itself.

The time to set up a mounted basketball hoop is significantly shorter, with most projects completed in just a few hours.
