"My whole world crumbled when my bathroom leaked water down my walls and out of my ceiling. I didn't know what to do. I'm a new home owner and have never processed a claim through my insurance. Wes showed up to my house in all the mess. He was there within an hour of the issue happening. Not only did he and his company take care of the damage, they took care of everything with the insurance company. I was out of my home for over three weeks. My animals were displaced and I had to leave my kitties locked in the basement. They went so far above and beyond, they even fed and watered my cats! It was a stressful situation, but they took so much pressure off of me by handling everything! When I was finally able to go back home, not only was the water damage gone, my house was sparkling clean from top to bottom on both floors of my house. My house hasn't been this clean ever! It's like I walked into a brand new home. They updated me everyday. I never had to reach out, because they were in constant communication. I am so blessed this company came in and saved the day. The work was phenomenal. You better believe I have them saved in my phone. I was assured they do all manner of work my home could possibly need. Next time I need help with ANYTHING, I'm calling Wes at Plow and Property Projects!"

"Nixon was great came next day and fix a door that refused to shut. And cleaned up well."
On average, a plumber will take 30 minutes to two hours to clear a clogged drain. If the clog is located close to the drain or an access point and isn’t severe, the project will take about half an hour. If the clog is deep within your plumbing system or is a severe blockage, it can take two or more hours to remove the clog. For this reason, main line clogs tend to take longer, usually between two and three hours.
It’s possible to snake minor drain clogs yourself, provided they sit within a foot or two of the drain itself, but it’s usually best to hire a professional plumber regardless. Even experienced DIYers have a high chance of accidentally pushing the clog further into the drain using a drain snake or another tool, so hiring a plumber is the ideal course of action. A professional plumber can use camera equipment to locate and identify the clog, and remove the entire blockage to fix your issue permanently.
In most areas, drain cleaning professionals don’t technically need a license, as they aren’t altering your plumbing system in any way. However, we recommend hiring a drain cleaning professional with a plumbing license and certification. Certified plumbers are more likely to provide professional solutions to drain clogs without damaging your system. They’ll also have the diagnostic tools and experience necessary to remove the clog entirely rather than providing a temporary solution, as a handyperson might. Use Angi’s state licensing tool to check your plumber’s professional licenses before hiring.
Applying drain cleaner is a common DIY solution to clogged drains, but it can be extremely harmful to your pipes and lead to corrosion and leaks. It is almost always better to try snaking a clog than using a drain cleaner, but the best solution is to hire a professional plumber. They can locate the clog and gauge the severity using a camera system and then decide if using a plumber’s snake, auger, or drain cleaner is the best option to remove the clog and limit damage to your plumbing system.
The average cost to unclog a drain is around $200, with prices ranging between $110 and $800, depending on the type of drain and the extent of the clog. Hiring a professional to snake the toilet or sink will usually cost between $110 and $275, a bathtub or shower typically costs around $225, and a main line clog can cost between $100 and $800 based on the severity of the clog and how far beyond the access point the clog sits. Since the labor involved varies, most plumbers will charge an hourly rate for drain cleaning.
