"I reached out to trip advisor and the name of the company came up I called they came and talked. The chimney was used for a wood stove but has not been used in close to 3 years. They suggested the wrap in wire and the cement over it. then seal it and put a cap on it. They worked hard but the underlayment of the wire shows and the cement is not put on to look very nice at all I do not think they used enough cement and did not know how to put that on so it would look like stucco or a cement chimney.. I really think for $2000.00. It could look better. I am disappointed because I used home advisor in hopes of not being dissatisfied and I did this trying to help a friend and I feel like we were actually taken advantage of. I will be unsubscribing from homeadvisore. I thought the company would be good companies. We were persistent and sent pictures. They returned Wednesday Sept 11, 2019. The chimney s appearance is acceptable. They said they were sorry and it was because of the cement mix. My Friend Heidi that owns the home is satisfied with its appearance and the cement overlay looks better now so hopefully it will remain looking good. I will say that they did come back to make the improvements. Thank You Heidi"

A second one required cosmetic brick work and installation of a new liner. The third needed only cosmetic brick work. All three needed new caps. "I hired DJ of All Things Chimney to help me with some considerable repair on my chimney and install a liner for my Oil-fired boiler. He and his crew did an amazing job on the house. They were prompt, professional and extremely easy to work with. The liner was installed with no issues and my boiler is now much safer. After that was finished, I had him install a Regency Hi500 Wood stove insert to go into the worn out fireplace. His crew did an amazing job on the install! They removed the worn out hearth bricks and put in a beautiful piece of blue stone. Before and after pictures are on this review. It came out fantastic. Every person that has seen it has complemented how good it looks. I'm still stunned by the heat it throws out, I filled my oil tank in mid November and still have 1/4 tank left as the wood stove has immensely cut down on the boiler needing to fire. I highly recommend giving All Things Chimney a call if you need any chimney or fireplace work done."

"I called for a free estimate, Justin came promtly and inspected the chimey. He showed me pictures of the problems and spelled out all the options. I explained to him that my cellar has floode due the problems and was anxious to get the repairs done. Justin quoted a price that was fair and much lower then any other estimates. To my surprise he said that he could do the job that day. He kept sending me pictures as the work progressed so I knew exactlywhat he was doing.
