"Jaun and the man assisting him work very well together. Stayed on task and got the job done. They were both very polite and listened to our needs. The worked looked awsome when finnished. Jaun told us to call him if we had noticed any problems. We have had no issues with the work they completed ,and they cleaned up their work area before leaving."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The most sanitary way to mop a floor is with a microfiber mop and two buckets of water: one with cleaning solution and one without. Use the soapy water to mop the floor and rinse the mop in the clean water. When the water gets dirty, pour it out and replace it with new water. This mopping technique ensures the mop stays cleaner and prevents the spread of dirt and bacteria.

DIY is possible for basic cleaning. Professional services ensure thorough inspection and safe operation.

To neutralize mildew smell, you can use natural deodorizers like baking soda or activated charcoal. Baking soda absorbs odors; sprinkle it liberally on the affected area, let it sit for a few hours, then vacuum it up. Activated charcoal, available in pouches, works similarly. Vinegar, with its natural acidic properties, can also neutralize odors. Mix equal parts water and vinegar, spray the affected area lightly, then blot it with a dry cloth. Enzymatic cleaners are effective too, breaking down odor-causing compounds.

The best cleaner to remove soot depends on the surface material and the type of fire, but consider dish soaps or degreasers, baking soda, rubbing alcohol, and hydrogen. Low-oxygen fires often leave behind greasy soot, which is best removed with dish soaps or degreasers. Baking soda can be useful for absorbing soot deposits from carpets, followed by rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to clean the set-in stains.

Yes, basic dusting of doors, door hardware, and door glass is usually included when you hire a house cleaner to clean your home. A house cleaner may also vacuum door frames or clean tracks in sliding doors if these tasks are requested. However, house cleaners generally will not touch up scuffs or other markings on doors. Consider hiring someone who repairs doors to handle these issues for you instead.
