"Great communication during the estimate, before, during and after the job as well. I would highly recommend these guys for any gutter projects. The quality of the work is top-notch and the value was superb! I had a 65' section on the East side of the house that turned out great. I had extra down spouts installed, missing gutter sections put in, and soffit issues repaired, plus the little things that I overlooked taken care of at little extra cost. I wish I had found them a few years ago, and the most important thing, the wife was pleased! Thanks again fellas!"

"Mr. Redden is my go to guy when I have home repairs. He is very punctual, affordable, the quality of work is great. He provided quality work is a timely manner, cleaned up after himself, and stands by his workmanship. He did a great job for me installing light fixtures, cabinetry, fixing screen doors, painting, drywall repair and other random projects. I was very comfortable with him around my dogs as he was aware of where they were so an not to let them sneak out of the house accidentally, when I was not home. He was very professional, reliable and trustworthy. I plan to use him for other projects in the future!!!"

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, a water leak poses a major fire risk at your home because water is a conductor of electricity. Water that comes into contact with sparks or electrical wires can instantly ignite flammable materials. Additionally, any type of exposure to water can cause wires and other electrical components within your home to corrode. When assessing categories of water damage, it's important to know that even a small amount of moisture near wiring could cause sparks that lead to a fire.

As with any smoking appliance, a smoking oven is a concerning fire risk. It also negatively impacts your indoor air quality, which can put vulnerable people at risk of breathing problems. A dirty oven can catch fire if you don’t stay on top of regular maintenance, so remember to check your oven for signs that it’s time for a cleaning and remove buildup every three months to stay on the safe side.

Start by checking the top or side edge of the door. Look for a certification label or metal tag stamped with details like the fire rating and information on the manufacturer. Even if it’s painted over, the tag should still be visible. Next, look along the edges for slim intumescent strips. They’re designed to swell up and seal gaps when exposed to heat. Finally, check if the door closes itself. Most fire doors have a self-closing mechanism, like an overhead closer or spring hinges. If none of these are obvious, contact a fire safety professional to help verify your door.

Yes, mineral spirits are flammable and may spontaneously combust at temperatures of 200 degrees F or more. Storing them in well-ventilated spaces and disposing of them the proper way are the best ways to prevent mineral spirits or anything contaminated with them, like towels and rags, from going up in smoke.

According to the National Fire Protection Association, dryers and washing machines cause over 15,000 fires a year, with dryers causing about 92 percent of those fires. Because dryer fires are more common than you might think, it’s important to clear the lint trap regularly and have annual dryer vent cleanings.
