"JDI did an excellent job on my windows, I'd gotten pressured into a contract with Champion windows and Rex acted quickly to educated me about industry practices and ultimately helped me get much more for my money that I would have otherwise gotten. Rex's crew was great to work with and did a great job, everything went as expected, and I love my new windows. Would highly recommend JDI windows and have already recommended them to friends and family."

"Very nice to work with. The crew did a great job. I always imagined that getting a new window well would be incredibly expensive and a huge disruption. Not a all! I hardly knew the crew was there. And no hard sell on new window well. He gave me options and information"

"We had the main windows done by Power Windows in 2021 and now we had them do the windows on our outbuilding and mudroom. The entire process has been great from start to finish. The windows are fantastic, keeps the heat out in the summer and cold out in the winter. The sales(Davis, Jack, and Brad) and work crew(headed by Gus) have been very up front and professional. I highly recommend this company."

"Very efficient, speedy service, would recommend to anyone. Saved me lots of money cause I didn't have to replace windows"
If you have a problem with your window, such as broken glass, minor leaks, or a problem with your window being stuck, repairing the broken part might be a cheaper option than replacing the entire window. However, if you have a deteriorating window frame or major leaks, buying a new window will be the better long-term solution.
Window replacement can become costly, especially if you’re replacing your whole home. There are a few steps you can take to help save money on the bottom cost while still giving your windows a facelift.
Replace multiple windows at once to bundle your purchase
Inquire about discounts, coupons, or special offers
Consider window repair as soon as you see damage to help prevent the need for replacement
Maintain your windows often by inspecting your windows for drafts, leaks, and cracks
There are certain window repairs that are cost-effective to DIY and relatively simple for homeowners to tackle themselves. Tasks like replacing a screen, replacing a lock, or sealing a window are typically under $30 and take minimal time to do yourself. However, if you need to replace your window or repair a broken double pane, it’s best to call in a professional window replacement installer to lend a hand. Replacing the majority or all of the windows in your home is a time consuming job and best left to a professional.
Window replacement costs between $180 and $410 per window, or an average of $280 per window. However, your specific replacement job could cost as little as $100 or as much as $750. Factors such as frame material, the number of windows you need, and the type of glass you order all impact the overall cost. For example, simple double-glazed windows will cost $3 to $6 per square foot, but the stronger tempered glass ranges from $12 to $14 per square foot.
The time it takes to replace a window is a total of four to 15 weeks. This time includes your initial consultation, appointments for measuring, as well as ordering and manufacturing your windows. For a smaller job, you can expect the total timeline to be on the shorter end, but for a whole house window replacement, it might take longer (or be split into multiple install appointments). Once your windows are created and ready to be installed, your window installer will take 30 to 60 minutes per window to install.
