"Luke assembled a trampoline after preparing and leveling the site. He emphasized safety for the kids on the tramp as a priority. He was very conscientious- showed up on time, completed the project thoroughly, cleaned up, and was reasonable in price. All of which made the young jumpers and adult non-jumpers very happy!"

"Most of this project involved moving everything from one place to another and that included disassembling and reassembling some of the furniture items. Will and his team are beyond awesome. Due to unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances we had to move four times in less than a year. The first move was from a 3rd floor apartment where part of the stuff was moved into a storage unit and some moved to an Airbnb on a temporary basis. Less than two months later, we had to move in to the new apartment on pretty short notice. Again, Will and team arranged their schedule to accommodate our needs of moving stuff from the storage unit and the Airbnb into a 2nd flour apartment. After several months in the new apartment, there were problems that could not be resolved, requiring yet another move to another apartment on fairly short notice. Again, Will and his team came to the rescue and moved everything to another third floor apartment. Note there are no elevators in these apartments."

"Dillan did an awesome job fixing my pergola. He was reliable, showed up when he said he would, and the quality of the work turned out great. Everything feels sturdy and looks way better than before. He paid attention to detail and made sure it was done right. Definitely recommend him if you need someone dependable and skilled."

"Trevor and his crew were very professional, courteous and fair. They moved and installed our washer and dryer to the basement; including putting in the plumbing. They also installed a new toilet, repaired doors and did an absolutely beautiful and perfect job of cutting out part of our wood basement floor by the walk out doors and installed large tiles. They will also be refinishing our deck. We are so happy with everything they did and were a pleasure to work with! We highly recommend Trevor for any large or small home projects!!!"

Trampoline Assembly questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on equipment size, site preparation, and additional features like soft ground covering.

Generally speaking, building a swing set is cheaper than buying a prefabricated one, but this assumes you have all the tools and knowledge to complete the project. The average cost to build a swing set is $514, but you should also factor in the time and effort it will require—if you don’t want to give up your weekend, it’s worth considering buying instead of building.

The average cost to install a playground is around $500, with most homeowners spending between $150 and $1,200 on installation labor. The total project cost can range from $500 to $2,500. These prices typically do not include the playground equipment itself, which can cost an additional $100 to $1,500.

Several factors influence the final installation cost:

  • Playset Details: The type, size, material, design complexity, and number of accessories.

  • Site Preparation: Costs may increase if the land needs to be leveled.

  • Yard Accessibility: Difficult access for installers can raise labor costs.

  • Customization: Custom-built playgrounds are more expensive to install than premade kits.

  • Permits: Local permitting fees may apply.

Additionally, remember to budget for playground surfacing, which can cost $15 to $160 per cubic yard, or up to $225 per cubic yard for poured rubber.

You can start by finding playground installers in your area that have amassed mostly positive reviews online. Next, search for the companies on the Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) website to see if any consumer complaints have been filed. Once you rule out companies with poor reviews and a history of complaints, contact the remaining options and ask the following questions to find the right installer for you:

  • Will you pull permits if required?

  • Do you offer a warranty?

  • How long do you expect the installation to take?

  • Do you have experience working with the specific playground material I want?

It may be tempting to DIY the construction of a swing set to save money, but we don’t recommend it. Since children will use the swing set, the entire system must be solid and safe, meaning the cost savings aren’t worth potentially endangering them. Plus, most DIYers will have to build their swing sets out of wood, which won’t last as long as metal or vinyl and introduces the risk of splinters. Instead, hire a local playground equipment installer to ensure the swing set is built safely and efficiently, setting up your kids for fun for years to come.
