"Very pleased with the construction of my gazebo. Working with Alicia, project manager, was very easy because everything was done in a professional manner, especially communicating with me regarding project status. I knew at all times who was coming and when, and any changes were reported in a timely manner. The project was completed on time with no problems and we are happily enjoying our new backyard space!!"

"I was prepping a house for sale and they worked with me to adjust some of the painting colors and textures to make the job as cost effective as possible. Some minor overspray issues on outlets and a few fiztures didn't have their bulbs put back in, but nothing worth calling them back out for. Bottom line: Great bang for the buck. Would definitely hire them again."

"Jose and Saul are not your average landscapers. They are well versed in landscape design, cement work, plant and legume knowledge, construction and property management. They have been in my employ for over twenty years. They are friendly, bilingual and timely in their appointments. I highly recommend Sola de La Vega!"

"We have continued to hire Creativo for multiple projects after the successful replacement of all the porch railings on our 1913 farmhouse. They executed our custom Arts+Craft railing design beautifully! We have hired them to replace the roofing on two buildings and will hire them to paint trim and two more buildings. They are courteous, very reliable, and honor time commitments extremely well. We value quality workmanship, and Creativo has delivered for a fair price and a clear communication if added work is needed. I strongly recommend them."

"They were great! Very responsive and honest! They fixed up and epoxied the cracks in the stem wall on the raised foundation of my house. The project seemed daunting but these guys made the process so easy. And looks great! One more thing to check off the house projects list! â ï¸"

"Alfredo was great! He managed a very cost effective solution to a serious problem of accessibility to the build site and dig a fantastic job finishing the foundation slab for our new utility building that looks rock solid and should last for many years."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

The average cost to build or install a gazebo is around $5,700, with prices typically ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. For example, square gazebos and those made from metal can be more expensive, while brick is a more affordable material. Adding custom features like built-in seating or lighting will also increase the price. You can potentially save money by purchasing a prefabricated kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Several types of porches are available to meet your needs and style preferences. Some common porch types include:

  • Porticos are essentially a roof over a walkway leading to the home's front entrance.

  • Sunrooms are closed-in porches that are an extension of the house with glass or plastic panels that allow optimal sunlight.

  • Wraparound porches extend around the entire home, or at least the front and one side, and offer multiple entrances to the house.

  • Back porches are an extension of the home’s floor into the outdoors. These offer more protection and privacy than a deck.

On average, building or installing a gazebo costs around $5,700, with a typical range between $3,000 and $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. Material choice is a significant cost driver; for example, brick is often more affordable, while metal can be one of the more expensive options. Square-shaped gazebos can also be more expensive to build. Custom features, such as built-in seating or lighting, will increase the total price. You may be able to save money by purchasing a prefabricated gazebo kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Common materials include wood, vinyl, and metal. Wood offers a classic look, while vinyl and metal are low-maintenance options.

Porticos last 25 to 60 years, depending on the material used. A portico’s roof typically matches the roof of the rest of the home and can be replaced simultaneously. Portico columns have a similar life span if properly maintained and regularly sealed. In some areas, harsh weather and extreme temperatures may cause a portico to wear more quickly.
