"Canoga Park Heating & Air Conditioning is simply the very best service company that I have ever done business with. I live in a manufactured home so things are different than in a regular home. Out of a total of five companies I called to have my air conditioning fixed, they were the only ones who could figure out what was wrong and they did this over the phone in less than a minute. They came to my home, fixed it and it has worked without any problems ever since. They are clean, neat, nice, personable, friendly, professional and so much more. And, they cover their shoes so they do not bring dirt into the house! I started using them about four years ago and I have them out twice a year to service and check the heating and air conditioning. I subscribe to their service plan which is well worth it. I would never hesitate to recommend Canoga Park Heating & Air Conditioning to anyone."

"Two service Techs, Daniel and Kevin, came by the same day i called regarding a clogged sewer line. They were very pleasant and personable which put me immediately at ease. They performed an inspection and showed me a live video feed of my sewer line, indicating where the roots were growing in that caused the clogging.
They recommended hydrojetting due to the size of sewer, and scheduled a visit the following day.  The next day the same techs came by and cleaned out the sewer line via hydrojetting. Afterwards they did another video inspection and showed me their results. They were professional, communicative, clean, and very pleasant to deal with.

"Vortex Filtration Inc is a excellent company with vast experience & knowledge in conditioning potable well water. I recommend Vortex Filtration Inc to design build and install their patented Vortex water system to solved all well water conditioning issues. My client had a problem for over tens years prior to the installation of the Vortex system. Once installed, the well water in the holding tank was crystal clear. Thanks Vortex!"

"They had to come out 4 times. The first water heater started leaking after 6 months. It was replaced. The second water heater also started leaking after 6 months. I contacted the manufacturer and they recommended a thermal expansion tank be installed. It was not installed the first or second time the water heaters were installed. I did have to pay a re installation fee. I picked up the 3rd water heater myself and they gave me natural gas water heater instead of propane. The fourth attempt they finally got it right and so far the water heater has worked after 7 months. The guy was very responsive as far as my calls and issues. He came out whenever I needed. Unfortunately, the entire experience was just a train wreck."

Wells and Pumps questions, answered by experts

Yes, a bigger well pump can increase water pressure—up to a point. If you currently have a well pump of 8 GPM, you might notice a pressure boost when you go up to 10 GPM. However, overshooting significantly (going up to 15 GPM for an 8 GPM home) can strain your well system and result in things like burst pipes that can decrease your water pressure and make for costly repairs.

Reduced water pressure, strange noises, or air sputtering from faucets.

When considering the price of drilling a well, factor in how much you’ll save in water costs per year. The average family of four uses 100 gallons of water per person per day in the U.S. With a private water well, you can save hundreds each year.

Wells are also environmentally friendly. You don’t need to worry about drinking water treated with chemicals. Talk to at least three well pump contractors in your area. They’ll be able to tell you more about your options, give you different quotes, and discuss the biggest concerns.

Although air in your water lines won’t affect the overall quality of your water, it will lead to problems with your well water system if not addressed. Over time, too much air in your water lines can create blockages in your pipes, cause insufficient water flow to your taps and appliances, loosen pipes, and potentially damage important components of your well including your well pump and pressure tank.

Wells should be at least 100 feet deep for drinking water, but they may need to be deeper depending on the local geology, water quality, and your household’s water usage. Work with a qualified well drilling professional who can assess the appropriate depth for your well and test the water before drinking it.
