"We hired Antony to do multiple handy man jobs around the house. From replacing the dishwasher and garbage disposal, to hanging new interior doors (cutting and installing a doggy door into one), placing a wall mount for our TV, hanging interior mirrors. You name it, he is on it. Knowledgeable & professional with competitive rates, I will be saving his contact information for jobs in the future"

"Andres and team did a great job. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves. Our house was built in 1906 so it’s not a cookie cutter job.. His references were excellent. Our job consisted of repair and paint of the siding and decorative ornamentation of a historic home. It’s been more than six months since the work was completed and it’s held up very well. I’m looking forward to future projects with Andre’s and his team. Living in an old house there will be many. I strongly recommend hiring Andres if you have a unique project or work on an older home."

Trampoline Assembly questions, answered by experts

The time to install your basketball hoop depends on the type of hoop you're installing.

For in-ground hoops, it's best to allow at least five days total for the entire process, which includes any utility marking, hole excavation, anchor placement, concrete pouring and setting, and final setup of the hoop itself.

The time to set up a mounted basketball hoop is significantly shorter, with most projects completed in just a few hours.

Yes! It’s always a good idea to anchor your playset. Even though they’re heavy, it doesn’t take much wind to blow one over. Anchoring everything to the ground makes it a lot safer for your kiddos.

Material markup costs and labor expenses are the additional primary costs of hiring a playground installer over building your own set. Labor costs are typically less costly than some more specialized home improvement projects. DIY swing set construction is less expensive than professional installation but will take considerably more time and effort to perform.

The average cost to install a playground is around $500, with most homeowners spending between $150 and $1,200 on installation labor. The total project cost can range from $500 to $2,500. These prices typically do not include the playground equipment itself, which can cost an additional $100 to $1,500.

Several factors influence the final installation cost:

  • Playset Details: The type, size, material, design complexity, and number of accessories.

  • Site Preparation: Costs may increase if the land needs to be leveled.

  • Yard Accessibility: Difficult access for installers can raise labor costs.

  • Customization: Custom-built playgrounds are more expensive to install than premade kits.

  • Permits: Local permitting fees may apply.

Additionally, remember to budget for playground surfacing, which can cost $15 to $160 per cubic yard, or up to $225 per cubic yard for poured rubber.

Generally speaking, building a swing set is cheaper than buying a prefabricated one, but this assumes you have all the tools and knowledge to complete the project. The average cost to build a swing set is $514, but you should also factor in the time and effort it will require—if you don’t want to give up your weekend, it’s worth considering buying instead of building.
