We have been using Boykin Electric for over 10 years. We have investment properties in Thousand Oaks. We live out of the area and are grateful we discovered David. We know the work will always get done properly and on time. We can trust him to go into the home, complete the work as promised and lock up when he leaves. He has done all kinds of work for us from installing a new electrical panel to replacing ceiling fans. It is great knowing he has fair prices and we don't have to waste time getting other bids. He has never let us down.

Excellent. Byron was punctual and offered me a competitive quote from the start. Throughout the project he was forthcoming and pointed out any area he anticipated would not sand to his standard (floors are 73 years old). There were never surprises. He sent photos of the progress regularly and walked me through the project daily. I’m satisfied with the results and grateful he made suggestions from the beginning. I broke a 3 1/4 “ x 5” spherical globe on a light fixture. I found one displayed on lampsclinic.com, but since all the photos for globes on their website used the same photo for a multitude of different sizes, I wrote to make sure the item I wanted to order did indeed have a 3 ¼” opening. They assured me that it did, so I ordered it. When it arrived, the opening was only 3” and of course it was too small to fit securely in the 3 ¼” opening. I wrote back and they insisted that since the globe opening was smaller than the fixture, it had to fit. I was told that if I wasn’t happy with it, I could send it back for a possible refund after paying return postage and a 15-20% restocking fee. Had I ordered incorrectly, this might be a solution. But since they assured me it would fit, I don’t see why I should not get a full refund, including postage and their exorbitant shipping and handling charge. I suggested this in an email and never heard back until I wrote again. Still they refused. I decided to try one last time to speak with a customer service manager. I finally found a phone number for the company, but when I called, I was told that I was speaking to the retail store branch and since it was an online order, he could not help me. And despite being the same company, he told me there was no way to contact the online branch by phone. Extremely poor customer service.

He's also willing to work Saturdays so my wife and I didn't need to take time off work.
