"We live on a sloped street and had some water drainage issues.  Every time it rained water pooled by our kitchen, garage, and a bedroom.  Last summer, we noticed some foundation damage by that bedroom.  A structural engineer said the house was ok, but that we had to address the poor drainage.  We met with at least four different companies to get ideas for a solution.  We chose to work with Karen from Coastline Pavers.  She not only had the best price, but she impressed us with her professionalism, warmth, and excellent communication/follow through.  Her estimates were prompt and detailed.  She visited our house three separate times before we even committed to a project and helped us troubleshoot/design.  She was the only person who sketched a design and helped us visualize our project with samples.  She saved us money by coming up with a solution that didn't involve a sump pump or drains.  Karen was incredibly patient with me, & answered my many questions as well as listened to my concerns.  The crew of workers at Coastline Pavers work very well together, and did an excellent job.  They also coordinated their work with the man who built our fence and patio cover.  Our new patio is beautiful.  The colors coordinate well with our previous house color (tan) & the new one (blue-grey).  The seating wall provides ample seating, works as a bench for home workouts, a hiding spot for the kids, & our cat loves it.  I love that our plants will capture rain water rather than the storm drain, and most importantly, the pavers divert water away from our house. "The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because they did a great job on our turf. We got an estimate from Rocky, and he really sold us on the quality of this company. After getting a few cheaper estimates, we ultimately decided to go with Vision Turf. Although more pricey, we were confident that we would get a quality job. When our concrete was originally done it dried blotchy, so our project manager suggested we stain it. Not wanting to start the project over again, we agreed. After staining was finished we started noticing major pooling of water in different areas. After waiting a few weeks they finally came out and re did the parts of the patio that had an issue. However, during the re pouring of concrete our existing concrete that they had originally done was damaged with concrete splatter. In addition to that, the back of our home, our back door slider, and our vinyl fence was all covered in concrete splatter. We again brought the issue up to Jason, and were assured that a simple power wash would fix it. So to finish the job, they came out once again and stained the new concrete. Our final result was a few sections of nicely stained concrete, with a majority of it looking terrible. As well as the back of our home and fence being permanently ruined with concrete splatter. We again contacted Jason, asking for it to be resolved, with no response. At this point we were well into November with a job that was supposed to be done in the first week of October. So we gave up. I will say, they provided us with free rocks after complaining about the inconvenience. However, we did not receive the quality we were promised for a $17,000 job, without even the decency of a text back."

"I called and spoke with Steve he was professional and friendly, but what got me to leave this review is the fact he was honest in his business practices, we went over all the work I had to get done, unfortunately our timetable wouldn’t work with his availability, I can appreciate the fact that he was upfront in letting me know what projects he has going on and how that would affect my the start time on this project, I would recommend you give forthright construction Inc. a call, Integrity is key!
