I'd describe my personality as attentive and detail oriented \n\nI like caring for homes because helping other people feel comfort in their home brings me joy. \n\nI'm looking for a job that brings me satisfaction day to day, where I can put my head down and get the job done.\n\nI started housekeeping when I was nannying during Covid, in a home with a busy family. I did dishes and deep cleaned their kitchen, bathroom, and other spaces often. I took time to wipe off hand rails, and spend time on the little details too.\n\nIn my spare time, I like to paint, cook, and go hiking occasionally. \n\nOne thing you should know about me is I'm someone who keeps to myself most of the time, but that makes me really efficient.\n\nMy skills include organizing, refined detail cleaning and making maintenance easier.

"Adriana and her crew have cleaned for me in the past. They also help me to do some organizing as well. They've been incredibly helpful, and I would absolutely recommend them. I have no complaints or problems working with them. I am totally satisfied, they went above and beyond. On top of it all, they were very punctual and fairly priced. They added the finishing touch!"

"I recently had the pleasure of working with an incredible team of contractors who undertook the task of fixing my popcorn ceiling. From start to finish, they demonstrated an unparalleled level of professionalism, expertise, and dedication, leaving me thoroughly impressed and completely satisfied with their work. They were responsive, attentive, and took the time to understand my requirements and concerns. They patiently answered all my questions, providing detailed explanations of the process, materials used, and timeline involved. Their clear communication and transparency instilled confidence in me right from the beginning. When it came to the execution of the project, the contractors truly excelled. They arrived promptly and were well-prepared with all the necessary tools and equipment. Throughout the entire process, they demonstrated an incredible level of skill and craftsmanship. It was evident that they were highly experienced in working with popcorn ceilings, as they navigated the intricate textures and patterns with precision and finesse. Not only were the contractors technically proficient, but they also displayed a strong attention to detail. They ensured that every inch of the ceiling was meticulously repaired, leaving no traces of imperfections. The final result was nothing short of remarkable! My popcorn ceiling was transformed into a smooth, flawless surface that looked brand new. I could not be happier with the outcome. Furthermore, the contractors maintained a clean and organized workspace throughout the project. They took great care to protect my furniture, floors, and belongings from any dust or debris. After completing the repairs, they diligently cleaned up the area, leaving my home in pristine condition. Beyond their exceptional workmanship, the contractors exhibited a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. They consistently checked in with me to ensure that I was pleased with the progress and final result. They went above and beyond to accommodate any additional requests or adjustments I had, working tirelessly to deliver a finished product that exceeded my expectations. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend the contractors who fixed my popcorn ceiling. "Mike was called to clear an untimely (let alone super nasty) clog and backup in my home's sewer system around 11:30 PM on a Saturday night. It was a stormy night and he was out quickly to take care of the clearing of the (yuk) debris and digging out of a secondary driveway drain that was filled with other debris left by a construction crew doing some work on my driveway. Mike cleared out the drain area and the overflow area too. 5 stars all the way!!"

"Went well for a while and than they just stopped coming we got ghosted by them. They called off a few times for COVID and never showed back up they cleaning was ok but as time went on things would get missed like moping the bathroom floor around the toilet and he would use to much water o. Tile floors turning grout grey. My floors were not sealed so I fell that was bound to happen with a large amount of water used on floors. Wish they would have let us know they were quitting. That was unprofessional"

Drapery Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The best way to clean drapes or curtains depends on the fabric. Always check the care tag for instructions before attempting to wash them.

You can typically clean drapes yourself if they are made of durable materials like cotton, cotton blends, polyester, or burlap, which can often be machine-washed. However, some fabrics can be hand-washed.

For delicate materials such as linen, silk, velvet, lace, sateen, or wool, it is best to hire a professional drapery cleaner. These fabrics are often dry-clean only and can be damaged, shrink, or be destroyed by machine washing or using the wrong cleaning solutions.

If the care tag is missing, the drapes are old, thin, brittle, or have existing damage like pulls or tears, it's safest to have them professionally cleaned. A professional will use the correct methods and solutions for a safe, deep cleaning.

Anything that might have been exposed to fumigation chemicals should be washed before use. Wipe down and sanitize surfaces like countertops and tables, and wash all utensils (or take care to store them in an airtight box beforehand), as well as anything else that could find its way into someone’s mouth, like kid or pet toys.

Costs depend on fabric type, drape size, cleaning method, and whether additional services like pressing or deodorizing are included.

In general, shades and blinds are the most common window coverings used today because they create unobtrusive, sleek profiles that fit into any space. In addition, blinds and shades are extremely easy to use. Most operate using either a pull system or wand. While most blinds and shades sold by retailers are available in a wide range of sizes that are made to fit standard windows, customers can also order custom shades and blinds for windows that are hard to fit.

You should avoid using a pressure washer on any surface or item that could be damaged by the high-pressure spray, as some materials are too delicate to withstand the force.

Key items and surfaces to avoid include:

  • Electrical Components: Never pressure wash electrical systems, as water can cause short-circuits and create a safety hazard. This includes utility meters, breaker boxes, electrical outlets, generators, and HVAC or air conditioner units.

  • Delicate and Fragile Materials: Fragile items can crack, shatter, or be stripped by the pressure. Avoid pressure washing windows, glass, light fixtures, shingled roofs (especially asphalt), and stucco.

  • Painted, Stained, or Sealed Surfaces: Unless your goal is to strip the finish, do not pressure wash painted surfaces, stained wood (like decks), or anything with a protective seal that could be stripped away. Be especially cautious with older surfaces that may contain lead paint.

  • Soft Woods and Certain Decking: Delicate surfaces like softwood, composite decking, and antique or wooden patio furniture can be etched or damaged. If you must wash wood, use a lower-powered pressure washer with a wide-angle nozzle to prevent damage.

  • Living Things: Never use a pressure washer on people, pets, or plants. The force can cause serious injury and will destroy landscaping.
