"I contacted them for a quote and they called me within 10 minutes. Explained what they would do and the cost. (I also had two other quotes, 1 company was a little more expensive, the other quoted long distance rate). We set the date and they explained the cancellation policy. They called the day before the move to re-confirm the time and asked if I had any questions. The next morning two young men, Jason and Serge, arrived on time. They were prompt, professional, hard workers and had a great sense of humor. We walked through the house so they would understand what was being moved. And then they started. They worked fast but were very careful in wrapping and organizing everything. Once loaded, we headed to the new place. Several items needed to be moved out to go to another location which they did very quickly. Then everything was unloaded, we headed to a second location to drop off items and pick one up to return to the condo. Everything was moved without a dent, nick, chip or any breakage. They arranged furniture for me and put together things they had taken apart. They did the complete job in just 5 hours. I would absolutely hire this company again. I was very pleased with them."

"There were defects in a cooler thermostat that I had purchased for Alltech to install, which, by the time it could be identified as "bob," or "bad out of the box," had damaged two fan motors, and I was pleased that Alltech stayed on the problem 'til it could be made right. The installation project itself also had some quirks that Alltech was happy to work out."

"It went very well. Everyone was very informative. They kept me up to date with the process and whenever I had a question, they were really prompt with their answers whether by email or phone. They were on time when they say they will begin work and the guys that installed my solar panel and inverters were very clean. I mentioned that I'm very worried about leaks because my son is very sensitive to mold and they made sure to seal everything very well n show us the work they've done and ask if we see anything that needs to be addressed. I was very pleased with the whole process. And it was easy, they took care of everything."

"I highly recommend Steve and his crew at O.C Pool Technicians. They are professional and a pleasure to do business with. They were very flexible with any changes I wanted to make and always had time to answer my questions. He came up with a plan to fit my budget and there were no unexpected extra costs. I will use them again for any future projects"

"I initially responded to an Angie's list special, advertising a 10" x !2" redwood or Trex deck for only $1499.99.  This, of course, sounded too good to be true, and, alas, was.  Don't get me wrong, I was completely satisfied with the final construction and the price, the latter of which was almost ten times the advertised price.
The reason for this is simple.  One need only read the clearly labeled "fine print" accompanying the ad, which clearly indicates that it does not include demolition, parapets (railing), support structure, roof, or painting, all of which I needed.  One reviewer called this a "bait and switch" advertising technique, which one may feel when faced with the "sticker shock,"  but the deal I got was more than fair, price-wise, and expertly done with a high quality finished product.
The deck that needed replacement was at least 30-40 years old, and was built with wood.  The years had badly eroded the deck, which was warped, with protruding nails, and a termite infested foundation, and was at the point of imminent collapse.  But the old deck was significantly larger than the advertised 10" x 12" deck, and was elevated (thus requiring rails), was built on support beams, and also had an overhead wooden canopy. So replacing it required much more than what was advertised , and a consequently higher price.
Sion and Asi, the proprietors of Real Construction, were responsive, and quickly met with my wife and me to discuss and plan removing the old deck, and replacing it with a new one.  They are both intelligent, experienced building contractors, with an educational background in structural engineering. While we had a choice of termite resistant, chemically treated termite resistant redwood, we elected to go with a wood substitute called Trex. This a composite material, available in many colors, including one that very much resembled the redwood that we were replacing (called Select Saddle).  This is a composite material, which is virtually waterproof, does not require yearly maintenance, is washable with soap and water (or simply water), and is impervious to termites.
Their construction crew rapidly and efficiently demolished the.old deck, and hauled it away.  They then replaced the termite ridden supporting beams with chemically treated, compressed termite resistant wood beams.  They expertly installed the Trex material, using stainless steel spacers, which keep the separate rows of Trex at exactly the right spacing, allowing water to drain off.  They also extended the gutters and connected them to the downspout,  which should keep water away from the front door, which opens onto the deck. Next was the construction of the railing (or parapet), which was done with a beautiful contrasting whiteTrex. Lastly, was the installation of supporting beams and canopy, both made of termite resistant wood, and painted with high quality exterior white paint.
The result was a brand new, handsomely done, low maintenance deck, which serves as both my front porch and an entrance to the front door of the house.
As is customary, I paid for the work and materials in several increments, as the work progressed, with the final payment upon completion.
While dealing with contractors is seldom a pleasant experience (trust factor rating right below used car salesman), Sion and Asi of Real Construction really do "break the mold," and go against the grain.  They entirely deserve the high rating that they have on Angie's  List.

"Tina, Andre, Khalid, and Gregory did a great job. They cleaned more deeply than I've ever been cleaned, and they were great about helping me with things that involved reaching high places. They were also very nice and considerate. An excellent job. I'll recommend them for sure. On Friday they got caught in traffic due to an accident, but this morning they came 25 minutes early and stayed double the contracted time, with 4 cleaners rather than three, so they could perform extra services."

Sauna Installation questions, answered by experts

The primary difference between a steam shower and a sauna is the type of heat they produce. A sauna generates dry heat using electricity, while a steam shower creates wet heat from steam, resulting in nearly 100% humidity. A steam shower typically replaces an existing shower, has an opening at the top, and operates at a lower temperature (around 90-120°F) than a sauna, though the high humidity can make it feel just as warm. It is advisable to limit steam sessions to 20 minutes. In contrast, a sauna is a fully enclosed space that can be placed anywhere in a house and produces dry heat.

A home sauna may be considered a luxury item by some homebuyers, which can provide a good return on investment. However, whether it increases your home's value ultimately depends on the buyer, as some may not want to take on the extra costs and maintenance associated with heating and upkeep.

No, you should only choose high-quality wood to build your sauna. Not all types of woods can withstand the pressure from heat or moisture. Only use softwoods, such as cedar and aspen, that are known for absorbing heat and resisting water.

Both saunas and steam rooms offer some health benefits as well as a good return on investment. While there’s more research on saunas than steam rooms and fewer reported risks with steam rooms, the latter tend to be better for reducing stress. Which one is better depends on the benefits you’re looking for, your budget, and if you have space to build a sauna.

Considering the cost of tools, parts, and hiring assisted labor, building your own sauna can cost almost as much as purchasing one. It is less expensive to buy sauna kits, since they are premade and easier to set up. Still, you may need to hire a professional to assist in electric or plumbing installation.
