Small jobs welcome

"Joe kept calling till he got me in person. The handyman that was going to fix my drawer gave me a 2 week befor being able to get to us, so I agreed to Joe being at my home the next morning. He got here early, assessed what he needed, went out and purchased supplies and was done well within 2 hours. My husband also had rack for Joe to hang. He’s professional, flexible, knowledgeable and very likable. We will use him again!"

"I came on here to find a handyman for muscle on a project. David, the owner, responded so quick after I submitted my request. We spoke and he was ready to head over and help out within the hour. Omg, it was a hot day and really thought someone wouldn?t come out till later but he was here at 12:30pm. Very nice man, introduced himself and his wife (partnership/co-owners). I would call them again and you should too! By the way, the work was as promised."

Grill Assembly questions, answered by experts

A few potential problems can cause your gas grill to stop working:

  • Burners aren’t properly aligned.

  • Food debris is clogging the burners.

  • Hose connections may be blocked.

  • Burners may not be getting enough gas.

  • Gas valve is not working properly.

If you’re experiencing any of those problems with your gas grill, hire a local grill repair professional to inspect your grill for issues and implement a plan to resolve them.

You can maneuver your gas grill into place, but you cannot connect the grill to your gas source yourself. All municipalities mandate that a certified plumber carry out this work, so you’ll have to reach out to a plumber or a gas grill installation company in your area. Given how dangerous a gas leak can be, gas lines and connections are highly regulated, so you’ll need a professional’s help and a permit to install a gas grill.

On average, a gas grill can last from five to 15 years. The exact lifespan depends on several factors, including the brand and quality of the grill, frequency of use, and whether the gas line is buried or above ground. With proper maintenance and care, such as regular deep cleanings to remove food, grease, and carbon deposits, a grill's life can be extended. Protecting the grill from the elements with a cover can also prevent rust and reduce the need for repairs. Most grill manufacturers also offer extended warranties, which vary in coverage and terms.

The most significant benefit of having a gas grill over a propane grill is that you never run out of fuel unless there’s an outage in your area, which is rare. Unlike with a propane grill, you’ll never need to haul tanks back and forth to a local fill station, and you’ll never find yourself unable to use your grill because you forgot to refill your tanks. Gas grills also burn slightly cleaner than propane grills, and natural gas costs significantly less than propane, meaning it’s more affordable to run your grill.

Safety steps include proper vent installation, connector tightness, and leak testing. A safe environment must be maintained throughout.
