My central vacuum (Beam) was NOT working for years due to clogs and Alex came and identified the problem in less than an hour by systematically isolating the problem and ordered parts that needed to be replaced. His fees was $129 + $ 7 for the belt that needed replacement. I would highly recommend Alex if you have any issues with your central vacuum system. Apparently he takes care of all the Brands out there."

He quickly diagnosed problem, replaced the part not working, and cleaned out dryer vents of accumulated lint. The price was fair and dryer now working fine. "The fellow from Right Choice Heating & Air looked at all our vents, and tried to convince us that we needed to be very concerned about mold. Basically, he used a vacuum cleaner which he carried on his shoulder to clean about 8 vents. In addition to the $199 we paid Angie's list, he charged us $603.00 more which equals $802 for only vacuuming the vent itself, and the small area inside the vent which could be reached by his machine. He also put a mold preventative (just smelled like perfume) which blew through the vents for a couple of minutes after he was done. He did give us a "washable" filter, but it was smaller than what was needed, and it still makes a clunking noise every time the AC comes on. Nothing else was checked on our AC unit. Our main objection to this cleaning is that it was far too expensive for the work that was done."
