Small jobs welcome

As my business name says, I am My Father's Daughter. I was raised joining him on construction sites and gained valuable home maintenance skills as well as an old school work ethic. \n\nI have 10+ years of cleaning experience, from move-out cleans of federal employee apartments, to re-occurring, general and deep cleans to all kinds of clients. I've worked as a groundskeeper taking care of a 140 unit mobile home community maintaining yards and public areas. I've maintained trails and cleared brush for the Forest Service and love any opportunity to be outside.\n\nWhether it be cleaning your home, maintaining your yard, or you have a random household chore/task needing to be taken care of, I can do it. If it has to do with your home, whether inside or out, I can help.

"This company has done lawn service for me as well as replacing and repairing sprinkler valves. Recently I had some gutter problems which they were able to clean and make them functional again. Good response, very polite, work very well, and reasonable pricing."

"Loopsan Barrera was prompt, hard working and did a outstanding job. Since I live out in the country, my front and back yards are greatly oversized. With this year's rain, I had very thick weeds, waist high, but Loopsan and his father was able to clear everything and haul it away. I will have more work for them in the future. This will be a great hire for anyone, from small to large projects. I highly recommend them."

"James seems to be an outstanding young man but I felt my area would have been alittle more for him to handle alone with the large clientele he has. I would definately consider him in the future if needed and he had a crew to help him. I would absolutely recommend his services and his prices are very reasonable"

"Edge cutting did a wonderful job with my lawn and planted 2 queens palms tress. They also made a planter around the trees for my flowers. They went above in stalling all my outdoor lights for me. They go above and beyond with customer service."

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

Sealing pavers helps cut down on weed growth, but it won’t wipe it out entirely. What it does really well is harden the joint sand—especially if you’re using a sealant with polymer additives—so weeds have a much harder time breaking through. It also blocks airborne seeds from settling in the cracks and keeps debris from building up. This results in fewer weeds, easier maintenance, and a cleaner-looking surface. Just remember, sealing is a strong defense—not a one-and-done solution. Stay on top of sweeping, spot-treating, and resealing every few years to keep your weeds in check.

Poison oak is similar to poison ivy in that it's in the same family of plants. Poison oak is identifiable by its rounded-off leaves and hairy leaf texture. Tree-climbing varieties live primarily in western states while low-growing poison oak bushes occupy the eastern states. Treat poison oak like poison ivy to get rid of it permanently.

Very carefully. You should be cautious when using any of the above methods, as any one of them could lead to you accidentally killing desired grasses and plants. However, there are selective herbicides that can target certain plants over others. Look for a product that only affects the type of weeds you want to eliminate and spares the plants you want to keep.

Yellow leaves and stems on your sprouts indicate they’re not getting enough light. Keep them near the appropriate light source and give them as much as they need (they require longer exposure to fluorescence than they do to natural light sources).

Yellow patches, poor growth, or widespread weeds indicate a need for treatment. Soil testing can confirm nutritional deficiencies that require intervention.
