The most challenging aspect of decorating is knowing where to begin. This is why design assistance is so valuable. It takes the guesswork out of creating the home you have always wanted and makes your decorating experience rewarding. As a veteran-owned business, we offered veterans a discount on design consultations.

"Bathroom looks beautiful! We had some issues with the GC, but Corey was there every step of the way to make sure everything got done right."

CA Cabinets, Inc., proudly serves customers with pride, integrity, and attention to the details that matter most to you. This is one of the many things, that sets us apart from the rest. We are locally owned and operated. Give us a call, today!

"I'm so happy that I found David at CA Cabinets! He was here checking on the work daily to make sure everything ran smoothly which is rare for a contractor as usually they just come a few times during the process. Everything is beautiful and he went to extra mile to shop with me for the flooring tiles, quartz countertops, cabinets and sink. I'm super picky as an artist / former fashion designer and he was able to help me create exactly what I had designed. He had great ideas such as adding a waterfall edge to the quartz countertop and a window sill piece from quartz as well. This project was a complete gut and rebuild due to a dishwasher leak - homeowner's insurance claim. I was having issues with my insurance and David went above and beyond to help me navigate the insurance issues so we could complete the project. He is always very prompt and organized. Some of the other contractors that I had previously contacted could not even be bothered to give me a call back or show up on time to a scheduled appointment but David was able to meet with me right away and always notified me of the work schedules. Pricing was reasonable and in line with other estimates I received."

Interior Design and Decorating questions, answered by experts

Decorating a tree yourself will only take between one and two hours, but a professional designer may take more time to create their vision. When hiring a pro, assume the work will take a minimum of three to four hours.

It is usually worth it to hire an interior decorator, especially if you want your home to have cohesiveness and look like it belongs in a catalog. Interior decorators can be quite expensive, but decorating isn’t an ongoing cost, so you can expect to pay once for the service rather than on an ongoing basis. Interior decorating can be especially worthwhile if you’re selling your home, as house staging can make your property feel more welcoming and help buyers envision themselves living in the space.

Hiring a professional decorator for the holidays—especially when hanging your holiday lights—has countless benefits. Professionals know how to safely secure lights, can save you money on decor, and above all, make your home look stylish and chic.

With a little ingenuity, an old fireplace insert can be transformed into a decorative centerpiece that infuses new life into any room. Consider placing LED lights or candles inside to create a captivating display that simulates the warm glow of a fire. Another option is to repurpose the insert as a charming bookshelf by adding rustic shelves within the firebox. For plant lovers, converting the fireplace insert into an indoor garden is a perfect way to bring nature indoors. You can also transform it into a stylish wine rack.

Longer curtains can visually extend the height of a space, especially if they are hung on a rod that sits above the window frame. Place the rod up to 20 inches above the windows to open up a space. And while sill-length curtains are still common, many homeowners today prefer the floor-length look for a more open and airy vibe.
