Armes arrived on time and completed their work in less time than originally estimated - therefore, the fnal cost was less than originally estimated. They were efficient, courtious and professional. I will definitely use them in the future.

This company and 5 or 6 of their staff (including the owner) were terrific. We had recently moved into this home and almost immediately started having problems with the electrical system. They ended up having to replace the electric panel---a significant job and analyzing, locating and correcting an A/C short caused by an improper TV installation. We were so pleased with their work that we had them install a dining room chandelier with a 19ft ceiling and rewiring and relocating a kitchen light fixture. In addition to be very friendly and patiently explaining what they were doing, I found them to be highly competent and professional. Their attention to detail and their concern cleanliness while completing their tasks were truly astounding. Their communication with me was exceptional. They showed-up on time or called if they were running late (or early in several instances). I've dealt with many electricians over the years and Armes is the best. I would highly recommend them.

Armes Electric was professional in their dealings with us & did high quality work in an efficient manner. They provided a reasonable quote on site, having looked at the problems & then sorted them out. Would recommend them highly to anyone needing electrical services. One comment I will make: it took us 2/3 phone calls to get a confirmed visit date - a case of 'one hand not passing the message to another'. However all was well in the end, & they turned up when they said they would.

Armes Electric was a little hard to get a hold of in the beginning but when they did call me back, they were very responsive and professional. This is the reason for the Fair rating under responsiveness. They called me on a Monday and very quickly scheduled the work for the following Friday. The work was supposed to take place at 830, however they did call at 830 and told me they would be about 15 - 20 minutes late. When the electricians got to my house, they were professional and friendly. The work from arrival to departure took about 3.5 hours, and looks AMAZING. I absolutely will use Armes Electric again and will definitely suggest them to anyone who asks me about an electrician. Thanks Armes Electric for the great work.

They were responsive, and actually early for appointment. Electricians were personable, and immediately introduced themselves, and had company shirts on and arrived in company truck. I am always concerned about safety, so I appreciate that. We reviewed all work in detail. They were hardworking, and quickly finished the job. I felt comfortable having them in my home.

I discovered Armes Electric on Angie's list while looking for a local electrician in Aliso Viejo. I had just gone thru 3 weeks of frustration attempting to work with 2 other independent electricians and Solar City. I was literally getting down to the last week before I was going to get the car and wanted the job done fast. It was a great relief to get prompt and clear communication from Pete at Armes. I described my situation in a phone message and we subsequently had a great follow up call and arranged for a meeting at my house to review the situation. I met with Pete and he quickly assessed that my current home panel was full. The recent pool work and installation of patio heaters had left little to no room in my panel. He laid out my options and I decided to go with a new sub-panel in the garage on the wall directly behind the outside main panel running conduit up and over the top of the garage to the side where the Tesla would be parked. The Armes team arrived promptly on the following Monday morning ready to go. I opened the garage for them and left them with free reign for their job. They completed the work that afternoon. The work was done perfectly with everything mounted just like we had discussed. All the conduit was laid out nicely on the walls. There was nothing to clean up. I can highly recommend the Armes team!

I was not present for the work but as far as I can tell everything went fine. I would use them again for any electrical service. They were professional over the phone.

Unfortunately, he did not follow up with a bid for the project. It's unfortunate because he seemed professional and competent. UPDATE: He made a bid after I submitted my review. He understands that I had to move forward with someone else for the service to keep to my timeline. He was very polite about it and I would consider using him in the future.

I have worked with Pete for over twenty years. They do excellent work. They are responsive and come prepared to the job site. They always show up with the tools needed for the project. Their vans are stocked full of the items they will need.

I recently had a motorized window shade installed that covered a large window near the ceiling of my dining area that reaches up to the second floor. I called Armes Electrical to advise me how I could deal with the electrical cord and plug that powered the shade. The cord was hanging down alongside the window so that it could be plugged into an outlet that was on the side of an adjoining wall. Because the plug could not be hard wired, they suggested installing an electrical outlet right next to the shade so there would be no cord hanging down. They had to go up into the attic crawl space and run the wiring to the spot of the outlet. The attic access was not very close, so he had a way to crawl to get the wire through. The whole job took about 2 hours. Marcus and Ethan were both great. Very careful to move things out of the way, put plastic over my belongings, and cleaned up after. They were very nice and obviously well trained in what they were doing.

Estimate was done over the phone and the appointment was made to accommodate my schedule. The electricians arrived on-time and finished the job in a couple of hours. They worked with my existing panel, ran a 240 line and installed the station according to my wishes. When I received the charge, I noticed that Armes had applied the Angie's List coupon that I had failed to mention. I will definitely use them again.

They did an exceptional and excellent job. They found the problem that another company had created for us. They saved the day. They were not afraid to get dirty and find the problem. It was more than just experience but they were trying to solve the problem. The problem was a little bit out of the box and they were able to figure it out within an hour. It was amazing. Their price was reasonable.

I can't say enough great things about my experience with Armes Electric. I had a power outage in half my house on Labor Day and had been trouble shooting all morning. The outage caused our phone and internet to go out and my wife and I both work from home so we had to fix it right away! I called 5 other companies from Angie's List and no one answered. When I called Armes Electric I got a friendly voice on the other end of the phone ready to help. He explained that it might be something he could help me fix without coming out and wanted to save me the cost of having him send a team out to fix the problem. 15 minutes later I was up and running FREE OF CHARGE!!!! Armes Electric is now the only electric company I will ever use!!! THANK YOU!!!!

Armes was scheduled to come to my home to install 2 ceiling fans ? one in the garage and one in a bedroom. I spoke with the office and detailed exactly what had to be accomplished --there was an existing light in the ceiling of the garage that had to be moved in order to accommodate a ceiling fan for it was too close to the garage door opener. The office was told that the garage was completely dry walled. I inquired if they needed to come out for an estimate and was told they did not. Estimate was $300 which seemed fair. The second, was to install a ceiling fan in a guest bedroom with existing light in ceiling. Armes called 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment to say that their guys would be over an hour late because they had to troubleshoot. I needed to be at a meeting that afternoon so I rescheduled for a morning ? 8:30. On the morning of the reschedule, the electricians arrived 15 minutes late, but not a big concern as it was the beginning of a day. I took the electricians to the garage and Jason kept staring at the ceiling. I finally said to him, you can speak up. His response yelling ?Don?t treat me like a dog, I?m not your dog?. Then he went on to say in a rude manner that his work order did not include accommodating the fan. I explained to him what I had discussed with the office; then I told him I would be calling the office and he could leave. I called the office moments later, told them what had occurred, and they stated they would call back in a few minutes --- they never called back.

Most good electricians are very busy. Pete was able to swing by a few hours after I called. He thoroughly assessed the options and gave me a bid. The job was scheduled promptly and was performed professionally. While Pete's bid seemed high initially, after we discussed the labor estimate I understood the uncertainties related to how much time would be requird. Pete assured me his bid was a worst-case scenario and would be adjusted to the actual time expended. Indeed, the job was completed in less than half the time of the worst-case estimate, and the final bill reflected the reduced hours. I would certainly use Pete again.

Everything ran smooth from start to fininsh workers were proessional and went through all options available. I am planning for them to do more work in the future.

I contacted Pete Armes, along with 2 other Electric companies, to obtain an estimate to install new LED can lighting in the upstairs bathrooms, closets and hallway. Instead of a separate meeting to provide me with an estimate, he opted to send his team out to the house with the necessary materials and provide me with and estimate at that time. If I decided to proceed, they would install the lights the same day, If I decided not to proceed, that was Ok with Pete. I met with his team at the appointed time to discuss my concerns and needs. They were informative and helpful and made various recommendations. I found Armes Electric's price to be somewhat higher than the other bids. When asked why they were higher in price, they stated that they believed that their experience and quality of their workmanship was superior to other companies. Based on my discussions with the other contractors, I opted to go with Armes. During the day of installation, his team was very professional making sure that all flooring was protected. His team was polite and courteous and answered all my questions regarding the installation process and materials reassuring me that all was going well. Pete Armes arrived later in the day to over see the job. At the completion of the job, his team left all work areas neat and clean. I would highly recommend Armes Electric to anyone. Informational note: The halogen can lights have a transformer. When they are on during very quite periods, we can hear a slight buzzing. This is typical with transformers and the loudness of the sound depends on how the surrounding materials attenuate it.

Called to say they would be about 20 minutes late and arrived within the 20 minutes. Did a very good job of protecting the bed and floor during the installation. Was missing one part to complete the job and actually found a replacement in their truck.

I made an appointment and Issac and Justin showed up on time. I knew that they would have to trace the circuit in the attic. The attic is a nightmare with blown insulation, air ducts, and hidden under the insolation rafters. I expected the worse in trying to lcate the junction box and navigating the area. They were great. Issac in a matter of minutes located the box and the problem. Within a half hour it was fixed. I was expecting the worse in the bill but it was well below what I expected. They were great to work with. I have their number on the frig and they will be who we call for electric work.
