They arrived on time, gave me an estimate that I agreed upon and they started the work immediately and were done in the 90minutes that they quoted the job. It was a great experience from start to finish I would defnitely use them again for our electrical needs.

As our guests arrived on the weekend, I blew out all our bedroom outlets while trying to blow up an air mattress with an electrical pump using a bedroom outlet. The outlet near the kitchen that had worked fine with a larger mattress the evening before, so I was surprised. We called Armes Electric, Inc in Laguna Hills. Armes' owner answered the phone himself, consulted with me to try to help me avoid the need for a house call -(He politely and calmly talked me through finding our circuit breaker, etc) - and once it was clear that it would not hold he was able to send someone out right away. Once it became clear that enough of our electrical needs would be met to host our friends for the weekend, and that the ultimate attempt to help us find the crossed wires would take a long time, we asked the Armes Electric representative if we could pay him for his time and pursue the rest of our needs at a later time - during regular business hours. The company was very considerate, helpful, and willing. They explained that our safety needs were met and then they told us how to explain our needs to whomever we wanted to work with next. We were very happy with the help, the immediate response and the gentlemanly response to our request to leave the final trouble shooting for another time.

we still have shorts that act up in our system, but know how to better address them when they come up.

Was not happy with the price for a service call. I guess it is my fault for not inquiring about the price before asking them to come.

from out of state, called to have work done on vacation home. totally worked around me flying in and out of town. sooo smooth no problems. Have been pleased with my telephone questions being answered very promptly. i will use again!

They spent 6 hours doing the work without any breaks. They were professional and they were thorough. Even though there were some outlets at odd places, such as behind heavy furniture, they moved the furniture to get the job done and replaced it immediatley. You could not tell where they had been. But I know that they did it, as I watched them throughout the day. When it came down to the "Curio" cabinet filled with breakables, they asked me to empty it in order to avoid breakage with the moving of the cabinet. They worked over a blanket to avoid debris to be spread out. They cleaned their work place every where they went in the house. When it came to changing the landscape wiring, even though they dug out the wire thus creating dirt in certain areas, by the time they were finished, there were no trace of where they had been, leaving my landscape as undisturbed. With regards to the flood light fixtures, they pointed out the unsafe connectivity and recommended installing cut-in boxes. Again cleaning after themselves, leaving the area as undisturbed.

Very well. Local S. OC company. The owner (Pete?) came out and quoted us so there were no surprises. Very friendly. Two of his guys performed the work -- very nice, did a great job, and cleaned up like they were never there. Definitely my go-to electricians moving forward. Recommend.

They showed up on time and set out floor coverings and went right to work. They gave a price up front and stuck to it. They did exactly what I asked for and cleaned up after themselves. Their technicians were professional and courteous, I have used them before and I have also refered them to my clients and family members

I've used Armes twice now, and it went very well both times. Everyone arrived on time and did quality work. In each case the final bill was less than the estimate.

He arrived early (calling ahead), and after I showed him where the problems were, he set about fixing them with minimal interruptions. The job was completed in less than 3 hours.

They team showed up on time, were efficient, did a great job not making a mess, and then did a spotless clean-up. They went slightly over estimate, but one of the outlets required more work than anticipated. Pete was great regarding attention to detail in getting the job set up and his team did an outstanding job.

I had used one light in the kitchen for 9 months dreading a complicated and messy repair. Two guys showed up right on time and repaired my lights in 55 minutes--including replacing a couple of burnt out bulbs- with no holes cut in the walls. Good price, friendly nice young men with excellent electrical skills--and best of all working kitchen lights.

I emailed Armes Electric on 6/22/09 at about 10AM describing my problem and requesting a service call. Brian returned my email less than 2 hours later and told me the technicians would call me on their way into my neighborhood the next afternoon. They phoned on the 23rd and showed up within a half hour. When they got here I explained the issue, they quickly identified the problem and replaced the faulty part all within about 45 minutes. Jason and John were very professional, spoke English (as a first language!!), greeted me upon arrival and were very communicative as to what they were doing while they were here. $150 for the service call, and $30 for the part. Well worth the money to have someone come out once and fix the problem. And I didn't even have to make a phone call!

Very thorough and great communication on the work performed. Recommendations for future repair work that will eventually need to be done on main service panel and gave me a reasonable estimate for that future work. Very professional.

The technician was very good. He was very fast, quiet, and his clean work stayed within the price range. He was also very professional and responsive.

They provided a clear explanation of my alternatives and the pros and cons of different approaches. Performed the work. I was pleased with the work and the professional approach that I have asked them to bid on additional electrical work.

I was recommended to them by the place where I bought a ceiling fan. The guys were on time and finished the job fast. Well, they had to re-work the previous man's botched job, so that took a bit of time. But they were still twice as fast as the first electrician. They cleaned up well too.

Grade A experience in every respect. Arrival prompt, professional and knowledgeable technicians. Service delivered as advertised at a fair price.

This is my second experience with Armes. They where once again prompt, courteous, friendly and respectful. If I was not home, I would not know that they where except for the new fans. No dust, no dirt, just clean, friendly, well mannered and dressed crew. They immediately noticed that I had cats and made sure that they did not get out as they went back and forth to the truck.

One of the owners, Pete Armes, came out to do an estimate. A very nice, clean cut guy that was very prompt and helpful. The crew that showed up to do the work was more of the same. They laid out tarps to protect the floor, quickly did all the requested work and did a very good job, as well. They weren't cheap, but they weren't outrageously expensive either. They did a great job for a fair price and cleaned up after themselves, too! I give them an "Awesome" and will hire them again. I can't think of any negatives at all. Two thumbs up!

Everything went very well. The owner, Pete Armes came over and wrote up our estimate, which he sent by email. The day the crew showed up went smoothly. I think there were 6 guys on the crew and they finished all of the work in one day! Very polite, efficient and effective.
