Armes showed up on time and spent 15 minutes with my wife and I reviewing the work to be completed. They made some suggestions on how both the kitchen light should operate, and how eliminate any drywall work required. They also suggested a new switch for the backyard to to split the new motion detection lights from the porch light - a nice improvement we were not thinking of. All work was completed that morning by the team of 2, and they were on their way. We are very happy with the job and the improvements that Armes suggested to make it work better than we expected. They were true professionals that we would call on again for any home electrical work.

They were careful not to make a mess.

This is the third time Armes has done work for us so obviously I think it is a worthy company. You can refer to my prior positive review about 6 months ago. My issue is with the service call fee. They were here about 15 minutes so, excluding cost of parts, it came to about $10 a minute. Their fee is about 50% more than my physician charges for a visit. The service call fee is more than half of what my personal attorney charges for an hour. I mean no disrespect here because they do good work. I just think others should be prepared for the price when they choose Armes Electric.

All went well, Jason and Juan were great and answered all my questions. I have now found my new electrician.

I was very satisfied with the service and professionalism of the gentlemen who came out. They were prompt, friendly, knowledgable and very reasonably priced. I would definitely call this company again for future electrical jobs.

They arrived 5 minutes early, completed all the tasks professionally, very conscientious about not making a mess or damaging anything. The entire experience couldn't have been any better and I believe the price was more than fair.

pete spent a lot of time going over options and giving advise. he did not rush us, or try to sell us anything we did not need. great job!!!

We just bought a home and needed some electrical additions/corrections done. Pete came out the day after I called to give me an estimate. He was very personable and gave some good and honest suggestions. I received the estimate that night - totally itemized- so we could prioritized those items we wanted to do right away. I had received other quotes and Pete's were the most reasonable. Jason and Chris were the electricians sent to complete the job. They were professional, friendly, and knew exactly what needed to be done, in a timely matter. And they were very neat - they totally cleaned up all the areas, like they were never there! Love that! They did an excellent job and will be looking forward to work with them on round two of our "wish list"!

I had a GFI breaker/outlet that feeds 5 other outlets in my kitchen that kept tripping. Justin and Juan showed up on time on New Year's Eve, checked each outlet in the line, replaced the original GFI, found the source of the problem and gave me options on how to fix it. As my "problem" was most likely underground, I chose the cheaper, quicker option to have all outlets except the last one in the line work. They cleaned up nicely after the work and were very courteous. I will have Armes Electric back out should I decide I need the extra outlet before we re-do our kitchen.

My lights has started flickering late Thursday night, so I called Armes early Friday morning. He listened and suggested we called the SCE to see make sure the problem was not on their end. I called SCE and they walked me through flipping the breakers in the box and then I could not turn the main breaker back on so I had no power. SCE said they would send some one but I called Armes back and described the problem. He said he would come right away and he did arrive within the half-hour. He looked at it and found theat the problem was in my main breaker box. It needs to be replaced but since it is old with multiple connectors, it will difficult and costly to do so. He called his crew to come and clean up the bushings so that the connections were good. This would solve the problem temporarily for the holidays and he will do research to see if he can find a replacement for the original box.

They have done some wonderful work for me and they have done a lot of stuff for me. They do every bit of electrical you could ever want as well as audio-visual work. When they troubleshoot they are able to find the problem and are knowledgeable, polite and do what they say they are going to do. They tell you how much a job is going to cost in advance and they are on time and professional.

He did a fantastic job. Responded promptly and diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly and at less than original estimate.

Very good, relatively easy job for an electrician.

Distance too far and a little pricey.

This is my 3rd time using Armes. They were very professional from confirming appt, calling before arriving, explaining the work, and answering questions that I had before starting work. They protected areas by covering the floor and cleaned up after the job was done.

Pete was super helpful the whole time, way beyond normal customer service.

Pete reserved the Friday before the appliance installation while he worked up the proposal. We agreed on a price and his crew started 9 am on Friday. The first was working a conduit through the garage shelving to the passage door. Once in the house, they soon determined that each path was blocked with firewalls, air returns and plumbing. They stuck with it and modified the plan using more of the recessed lighting to get access. Taking much longer then expected, Pete called in a second crew to work on the outlets and main panel retrofits. I had 4 guys bustin it all afternoon to meet my timeline! Finishing up they reinstalled the drywall patches, cleaned up and tested the outlets. All was well and they did a really great job!

Work was done quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up when finished. Very satisfied with the job.

Pete came out and estimated each of the tasks that we wanted Armes electric to work on. He was super knowledgeable and not pushy at all. After receiving an estimate a day or two later, we booked them to come out an execute some of the work. The electricians that came out to do the work were very friendly and thorough. I most definitely plan on hiring Armes electric again.

I called Armes Electric to have them install 1 ceiling fan, 1 foyer light fixture, and 1 chandelier in the dining room. I was told it would be 2 weeks before they could get to it. I made an appointment for September 6 at 11:30 A. M. On the morning of September 6, Jason called me and asked if it was OK if they came early. A great surprise. Jason and Ethan arrived less than 30 minutes after the call. They seemed eager to get started. After telling them what we had to do, they got busy. They unpacked the light fixtures and assembled them quickly. I could tell this was not the first time they had done this! After the light fixtures were installed, they proceeded to install the ceiling fan which also had to be unpacked and assembled. Jason told us what the options were regarding the switch installation since the fan was replacing a light which was on a 3 way switch. After the fan was installed, they took time to explain how the switch worked and how the lights on the fan worked. The fan has an up light and a down light. They also explained how the remote control worked and how it was possible to position it on the wall in a holder that was included. While they were here I had them replace 2 light dimmers with new ones. This was not included in my original description of work that I wanted done. It only took a few minutes to accomplish this with dimmers that they had with them We were impressed by the competency and the friendliness of Jason and Ethan. They seemed to enjoy their work and enjoy working together.

As part of a complete kitchen remodeling project, we wanted to improve the lighting quality and aesthetics. I called Pete Armes because he did a great job of installing a ceiling fan in my family room a few years ago. I also noticed that in the time since we had that work done, his grades on Angie's List were excellent, so I had a good feeling about having him back to give me an estimate on this project. At the time I needed him to estimate the job cost, he was very busy installing ceiling fans for other customers due to the hot weather the area was experiencing. In spite of that, he managed to fit us in and dropped by early one evening to take a look. After giving us a demonstration of the actual lighting options he recommended for our application, we decided to go with the 4-inch LED recessed lights. Pete assured us that the higher quality lights we selected were fully dimmable down to very low settings, which they are. So while the lights we selected were a bit more expensive than another option he had, I feel we got a top quality product with excellent design layout and installation to match. The best part of the whole process was how responsive Pete was to my tight project schedule needs. He got the writen estimate to me the following day so I could accept his proposal and schedule a day to do the installation. His crew was very friendly, they did a perfect job with the installation, and everything was left neat and clean at completion.

It was the second time I had used them. They are very thorough and clean up after themselves.

I had hired a contractor to remodel my kitchen which included installing ceiling lights in my kitchen, dining room and livingroom. They installed ugly fluorsecent canned lights in my kitchen. I evenutally fired them (the other contractor) due to several reasons. I found Armes Electric on Angie's list. Pete came out and assessed my sinutation and told me what he could do and gave me a quote. My lights now are just beautiful. The under and over cabinet LEDs really set off my cabinets. He replaced the cans in the kitchne so I could have LED drivers in. He replaced all of my other lights with LED drivers. The difference is amazing, not to mention the energy savings. Pete himself came out on a Saturday to do the rough electric. because my cabinets were going to be installed the next week and they were booked up till the following week. All of his crew are the nicest people. He also did a few little extra things at no cost. Pete came out (even with a bad foot) and met with the city for my final inspection (which passed) He also did a line drawing that the other contractor was supposed to do for the city but never did. Pete makes suggestions but does not push anything on you that you don't want to do. They are courteous and they leave everything neat and clean. I would highly reccomend Armes Electric. I recently had them come back and install 2 ceiling fans and change out all my wall plugs. Happy, Happy Happy. Also if something is not right they will fix the problem. I guess the wrong dimmer switch was put in for my leds and they replaced it with no hassles . Great, Great company. I have a few more things I want done and i will definately being calling them to do it.

They are very professional and they know they are doing. They always clean up when their done. They give you a very detailed bill so you exactly what you are paying for. They are always on time and responsive.

This was the most pleasurable experience of having professional workmen come to my home. Jason and Ethan could not have been any better. After they found and fixed the problem, they said "What else can we do?" I'll definitely be using this company in the future. Thanks so much.
