19 years of experience

Carpet,Tile, linolium I charge a flat rate of $33.00 for any size residential room. Add $1.00 per mile for homes located outside the El Centro area. Example: You have 3 rooms and live 10 miles outside town [3rooms x $33.00 = $99.00 + $10.00 = $109.00] Plumbing and any construction is case by case I was born in the Valley. Went to school in Imperial. Moved to Oregon 16 years ago. My youngest child is away at school now so My wife and I decided to come home. I've been back since MAY working on transfering my General Contractor Credentials to california. Just completed the PLUMBING LICSENCE IN MY BROTHERS NAME. RSMITH PLUMBING same number. I currently clean many homes/apartment weekly and 90%+ of all Motel rooms in the Imperial Valley (Over 1000 rms.) MY equipment is better than most other on the market. I have a full size van with a Honda powered mounted Steam Cleaner that provides constant 230 degrees from the hose which allows the super heated water to flash into steam giving superior results without satuating you carpet. Dry usually between 2-3 hours. Bottom line is every carpet I Pretend is my own so I always do a very good job. I'll stop typing now. My wife says I have the tendancy to ramble. I have to believe her since transcripts from High School on up are all 4.0+ (kinda proud of her)

"I had a terrible experience with PHD, LLC plumbing service. I called them when I had an on-demand water heater that was not working. They could not figure out the problem! After 3 visits and $ 950 of charges we discovered it was merely a propane gas supply line was undersized, which I tried to suggest to them initially! Likely a $ 250 fix at most! I cannot recommend this business. They are unqualified to do the job. They are unprofessional, incompetent, and arrogantly rude!!!"

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The best practice is to hydro jet your sewer line once per year. However, there are several factors that can affect this recommendation, including the age and condition of your pipes, how often your sewer line is used, and the type of waste disposed of in the system. When in doubt, ask a licensed plumber for their recommendation for your plumbing system.

Some signs that your main sewer line is clogged are easy to spot, like when water backs up into your showers, sinks, and toilets for no apparent reason. However, some indicators are more subtle. The most common signs that you may have a clogged sewer main include:

  • Gurgling sounds coming from drains or toilet

  • Water in your basement drain or in the lawn

  • Smell of raw sewage throughout your home

  • Other found odors like rotten eggs around your home

No, it’s best not to leave baking soda and vinegar in the drain overnight. While using baking soda and vinegar can be helpful to clear out hair and debris in your bathtub drain, this mixture might start to corrode your drainpipes due to its caustic nature if left in the drain too long or used too often.

No, you typically cannot use metal detectors to find your sewer line. Most sewer lines are made of non-metallic materials such as PVC, clay, or cast iron, which are not detectable by standard metal detectors. Metal detectors are designed to locate metallic objects, so they won't be effective for identifying the path of a non-metallic sewer line. To locate your sewer line accurately, it's best to use other methods.

Toilet paper is the only material that you should flush down toilets. Other items like wipes, paper towels, feminine hygiene products, dental floss, and medications should be disposed of in the trash. Flushing these items can lead to plumbing issues and damage to sewage systems. Grease and cooking oils should also be avoided as they can solidify in pipes, causing blockages. Proper disposal helps prevent clogs and ensures the efficient operation of wastewater treatment systems while protecting the environment.
