Customers say: True professional

"Our landscaping in Menlo Park needed a complete refresh. The team replaced thirsty plants with drought-tolerant options that still provide plenty of color and curb appeal. We're using much less water without sacrificing appearance."

"This was an usual project. It was redoing a mini bar. Hard to find a contractor that would do it or had the time. Homepro was great lead by project manager Shir Hadad. Jumped right in there and took it on and got the job done. Really appreciate their professionalism."

"We recently upgraded our home with The Right Choice Home Remodeling Company. We could not believe the beautiful work that they did. They put in new SkyLights, upgraded our Balcony and replaced our Air Conditioner. What impressed us most ,was how they keep their word. The people that we worked with were Leo and Nir. They are our new best friends. You can't go wrong with with Right Choice, especially if you work with Leo and Nir."

"Mart Landscape did a nice job cleaning up about 1/3 acre of brush on our property that included a lot of poison oak. They worked after hours so it was a little difficult knowing when the job would be complete. Their price was very good and they worked hard. If you hire them, check that their insurance is suitable for your needs. I will be having them back to keep on top of the poison oak."

"Trustworthy They come in, get started right away, and don't mess around. The owner works alongside the crew, and they clean up after themselves at the end of the day. Even my neighbors made a remark about how diligently they worked. They keep and maintain a strict schedule. He's very negotiable and accommodating as far as the materials and the pricing, giving you a lot of options. I highly recommend."

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

Clearing snow from your roof can be a tedious and time-consuming job. Even so, it is extremely important to maintain your roof during the winter months. You can help prevent ice dams and avoid roof collapse.

As a side note, rather than shoveling your roof, you should always use a roof rake to modify the job. Otherwise, call in a professional.

Ice dam removal costs anywhere from $650 to $2,000, with most people paying about $1,200 for this service. The price you pay will depend on a few factors, including the removal method. If your pro uses salt or tablets to get rid of the ice dams, you might only pay $200 to $300. But if they use steam, your costs could increase to $800 to $1,200.

The fastest and most effective way to remove snow from a driveway is by using a powerful snow blower, such as a two- or three-stage model, which can clear the area in minutes. Other helpful options include a snow thrower, a wheelbarrow plow, and even a leaf blower for lighter snow. If you need immediate help, consider hiring a professional snow removal company to take care of it for you.

The cost of removing snow from a roof averages between $300 and $700. However, this cost can range from $200 to $3,000, depending on the size of your roof, the amount of snow, and roof accessibility.

Since snowfall can range from light powder to heavy and condensed snow, part of the price of roof snow removal depends on the amount and type of snow. For 12 inches of snow, you can expect to pay between $200 and $2,000 for this job. However, for 24 inches of snow, that price rises to $300 to $3,000.

Both rock salt and ice melt are naturally occurring salts. Rock salt is sodium chloride, which is the same as table salt. Ice melt products can be made from a combination of salts like magnesium chloride and calcium chloride or can be those salts alone.

Rock salt comes in large crystals, so it helps provide traction on icy surfaces, whereas ice melt products need to be mixed with sand to provide traction. Ice melt products work at lower temperatures than rock salt, so they might be a better choice if you have a harsh winter climate.
